OK, I’m having a hard time letting this issue go, so I’m going to devote an entire post to it.
Did anyone else watch Juan Williams host “The Factor” last night on Fox News? O’Reilly (who’s proved himself to be more than just a cantankerous old guy; bloated with opinion); handed Williams the keys to the kingdom and, in my humble opinion, Mr. Williams hit a homerun.
I just hope Juan manages to keep that fire in his belly and that his ire remains after the wound has stopped stinging. Hopefully and seemingly; if his comments last night are any indication, Mr. Williams’ eyes have been opened to the truth about the democratic left. And that the hypocrisy that governs and guides them has been laid on the table and is a lesson he won’t soon forget.
There’s a reason why we’re called, the “right.”
That said, let’s get into it.
Vivian Schiller, the President and CEO of NPR (the woman who not only was so tactless as to fire Williams over the phone-after 10 years of faithful service), but then went on to hold a press conference about it where she suggested Juan discuss his fear of Muslims with his psychiatrist (inferring that he’s mentally ill.) According to what Juan reported on Fox last night, Ms. Schiller had issued a public apology (which I still cannot find footage or even a record of), but has yet to reach out to him, privately.
If I was Juan, I wouldn’t accept her apology, anyway. It’d be hollow and forced and she’d only be saying it because she knows her job is on the line.
Putting aside, for a minute, how ineptly and unprofessionally she handled Mr. Williams’s dismissal; let’s focus on the further reaching impact of her glib words. Talk about insensitivity to those suffering from mental illness. The smirk that accompanied her thoughtless remarks seemed to convey that she either doesn’t take mental illness very seriously, or she knows nothing about it.
As angry as I am over this whole thing, I’m just as bothered by the incident that precipitated it. It was Bill O’Reilly’s comment that Muslims were responsible for 9/11 when he was a guest on The View and the theatrical exit of Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar in protest of what they considered to be a prejudiced statement against Muslims.
Obviously, the resulting fall-out was mild in comparison to how NPR handled Juan Williams’ statement, but it just illustrates how “political correctness;” fueled primarily by liberalism has transformed our country into a rigid landscape of intolerance. Those who adhere to it seem utterly incapable of accepting or even recognizing any opposing opinions, attitudes or ideas.
And in what has to be the ultimate display of hypocrisy; Whoopi released a statement lambasting NPR for firing Williams over his comment. Let’s keep in mind, this comes from a woman who felt it acceptable even necessary to walk off her set in the wake of a statement of fact from O’Reilly; yet defends Juan’s expression of opinion.
That’s where the libutards get it wrong. Both of their comments are equally protected under the first amendment. And taking into account the blatant disregard by NPR of that constitutional protection, I do believe our government needs to cut funding to them as a way of sending a strong message to the rest of the far left “mainstream” media that freedom of speech must not be impinged upon.
NPR claims that only 2% of their annual budget comes from our government, but that 2% comes to about 90 million dollars (nothing to sneeze at.) If it’s such a drop-in-the-bucket for them; they should forego it. PBS (another taxpayer supported media outlet) garnered approximately $400 million in Federal subsidies in 2009. We need to put an end to state-sponsored broadcasting, especially when the networks we’re funding reflect only a one-sided political view.
According to the NPR website:
A very small percentage -- between one percent to two percent of NPR's annual budget -- comes from competitive grants sought by NPR from federally funded organizations, such as the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), National Science Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
This is “technically” true within the narrowest of definitions, but grossly over-simplified and misleading.
Separating so-called “competitive grants" from the final tally is not an accurate accounting of NPR’s federal funding. They receive substantial money from the CPB – through its member stations. NPR Inc’s 2007 financial statement documents that $65 million of the $169 million in total reported earnings from that year came from "station programming fees" and another $2 million came from "membership dues." Meaning, member stations “affiliates” receive grants through CPB, which they then send back to Washington (NPR) to pay for dues and programming. Keep in mind, that’s at least $67 million additional dollars on top of the “2.5%” NPR is copping to.
NPR claims the member stations receive only 13 percent of their revenue (on average) from CPB, but the federal funds sloshing through the NPR system are substantial, not as insignificant a percentage of their operating budget as they’d like us to believe.

Please direct your comments and emails to the Ombudsman (the one put in charge of arbitrating this whole thing.) Let them know how you feel about the handling of this whole situation and let’s hit them where they’ll really feel it. This is their annual “fund-raising” weekend. Send your donations elsewhere and ask others to do the same!!!
This issue is bigger than Juan Williams or Bill O’Reilly. It’s about preserving the freedoms granted to every American. For if they’re threatened for one of us; they’re under attack for us all.

Freedoms Just Another Word For...
Well, well, well…we are fast approaching the moment of truth. November 2nd; the day of reckoning is nearly upon us. Yet, there’s no rest for the weary, as we still have much work to do to restore our country back to the vision of our fore-fathers.
Let’s take a closer look at some of more “interesting” campaigns.
In NY, where I live; I think it’s safe to say that Andrew Cuomo could be wheeled in on life support, and still beat Carl Paladino by a landslide. What a train-wreck the Paladino campaign spiraled into.
To be fair, Paladino is a businessman, not a politician, but it looks like he never even bothered reading the Cliff notes to Politics 101. Talk about a loose-cannon, he pops his top at the slightest provocation (and Cuomo knows EVERY button to push.) To tell the truth, I’m surprised that Cuomo is still spending money to run his ads here on TV, since Paladino, himself; appears to have taken his ball and gone home.
We also have the distinction of having a seemingly insane auctioneer running for governor here in the Empire State. Jimmy McMillan, who’s running on his self-created, “My Rent Is Too Damn High” ticket, is apparently delusional, as well. It was reported yesterday that the flamboyant would-be politician DOESN’T EVEN PAY RENT. He barter’s handyman work with his buildings owner in exchange for his apartment. But hey, he’d fit right in with all the other scam-artists in Albany…
So, NY appears to be a lost cause.
Dateline: Delaware-Christine “I am not a witch” O’Donnell (R) appears to have really stepped up her game since that ridiculous ad in which she sought to reassure us all that there was no “Eye of Newt” in her cupboard. Unfortunately, that also means that she won’t be able to abracadabra Delaware’s economy back to health if she succeeds at being elected to that state’s senate.
I do not doubt that an exorbitant amount of coaching went into it, but I truly believe she redeemed herself in that last debate with Chris Coons (D). To me, Coons came across as a typical politician. He failed to even once directly answer any question asked of him. He spoke in platitudes and circled the wagons to the point that, by the time he was done rambling; the viewer could no longer even recall what the question was that he was responding to.
Now I’d like to discuss a topic that really has me bothered. It turns out that numerous Illinois counties failed to mail absentee ballots to overseas voters before the national deadline. If this doesn’t smack of corruption, I don’t know what ever will.
Let’s take a closer look at it: Obama’s administration is presently the most unpopular of all administrations before his. This is a direct result of the way he has ignored the will of the people. The way he and his goons have bullied and coerced voters to manipulate results. How he side-stepped the constitution by appointing Czars instead of political appointees that would have had to of been vetted and confirmed by the Senate, as a way to guarantee that he’d ram his personal agenda through. I could go on and on, but the point is; the pendulum has shifted and Americans are determined to be heard through their vote.
It seems a bit too coincidental that it was in Obama’s state of Illinois that this absentee ballot snafu occurred. Illinois, where corruption is as plentiful as that pseudo-pizza they love so much. And let’s take a minute to state the obvious. Most of the overseas ballots that were mailed late are for our men and women in the military who are, IRONICALLY, over there, putting their LIVES ON THE LINE TO DEFEND THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS THAT WE MAY HAVE SUCH FREEDOMS.
Here’s where it gets tied together; historically, military families have voted Republican and by eliminating their vote, I can only assume, the democrats believed they had a fighting chance at holding on to at least two of our branches of power. That way they could bulldoze their collective list of items through during the lame duck session of Congress after the November 2nd midterm elections.
But it won't be easy for the Democrats to advance their agenda as time runs out, given the slow deliberations of the Senate and the possibility that Republicans will immediately gain more seats in that chamber if they win special elections in West Virginia, Delaware and Illinois. Evidently the Illinois State Board of Elections and the U.S. Department of Justice are in their second day of talks to determine if a resolution can be found. Let’s all hope they resolve it on the side of our brave selfless military personnel.
Next up on the docket: the Bill O’Reilly/Juan Williams drama. I think we’re all up to speed on the overly-reported story of Whoopi and Joy of The View walking off their set in protest to Bill O’Reilly’s statement that “Muslims attacked us on 9/11”—A statement of fact; I might add, and not one of opinion.
Last night Juan was on O’Reilly’s show (as he often is) and made the statement that (paraphrasing here) he gets nervous when he’s traveling on a plane with Muslims. However, he then went on to tell O'Reilly that he had to be "careful" to stress that he was not talking about all Muslims when he criticized some and that America was not at war with Islam. He also compared blaming all Muslims for the actions of extremists to blaming all Christians for the actions of Timothy McVeigh. (O'Reilly responded that he was "done" being careful.)
It’s worth mentioning here that Mr. Williams is, himself; a Democrat. And before this morning, he had been a long-time news-analyst for National Public Radio (NPR.) Unfortunately, and quite possibly unconstitutionally, Juan was fired from NPR for the statement he made on O’Reilly’s show. NPR said in a statement that it gave Mr. Williams notice of his termination on Wednesday night.
Here’s the problem; WE THE PEOPLE fund NPR with our tax dollars and we have this little clause in the Constitution called the FIRST AMENDMENT, which guarantees Mr. Williams the right to make such a statements. Just as it protects the likes of Whoopi Goldberg and her ilk to disparage the very country that keeps them free.
Back we go to the First Amendment. My question: why do liberals hide behind it when it suits their needs, yet forget about it completely when confronted by anything that doesn’t gel with their beliefs? It’s not a light switch that can be turned off and on- governed only by necessity, but rather one of the inalienable rights granted to us by our fore-fathers and protected by the Constitution. NPR needs to be shut-down.
And maybe instead of getting all up-in-arms about how sensitive we need to be to foreigners, we could spend a little time focused on what our government is doing to protect IT’S OWN CITIZENS. It's like Arizona is its own nation; fighting to secure its populace and its border all alone. Where is "our" friggin' Federal Government!!!??? Close the damn borders and post the National Guard with orders to SHOOT ON SIGHT anyone seen entering the country by swimming across the Gulf or hopping a fence!!!
How many Americans have to die at the hands of Mexican drug-lords and desperados before our government finally protects its own people in the same fashion they defend the rest of the world.
Next topic: The multiple Wiki-leaks scandals. Who are these traitors among us and what is their motivation for leaking top secret documents to the news media?
Wiki leaks is the brain-child of Australian-born Julian Assange and he and his band of online dissidents have in the past: helped swing the Kenyan Presidential election, embarrassed the US Government, threatened US security, as well as; sparked international scandal. His site provides a safe haven for whistleblowers to anonymously upload confidential documents.
In February of 2009, in what is believed to be the largest leak in US military history, Wiki leaks released nearly a billion dollars worth of quasi-secret reports commissioned by the United States Congress. The 6780 reports, which were current as of then, were comprised of over 127,000 pages of material on some of the most contentious issues in the nation.
And then again in July of this year, the website published tens of thousands of secret documents about the war in Afghanistan. Among the most disturbing news released was the evidence that Pakistan is helping those in Afghanistan who are trying to kill our troops. These leaks compromised US security and put the life of every service personnel over there fighting at further risk.
Again, liberals defend their traitorous ways with the shield of the First Amendment. But they fail to take into account that with freedom; comes responsibility. Whatever their misguided reasons for the choices they make, they have become a real liability to the security of our country.
If they’re allowed to continue to go unchecked, freedom really will be just another word for “nothing left to lose.”

And maybe instead of getting all up-in-arms about how sensitive we need to be to foreigners, we could spend a little time focused on what our government is doing to protect IT’S OWN CITIZENS. It's like Arizona is its own nation; fighting to secure its populace and its border all alone. Where is "our" friggin' Federal Government!!!??? Close the damn borders and post the National Guard with orders to SHOOT ON SIGHT anyone seen entering the country by swimming across the Gulf or hopping a fence!!!

In February of 2009, in what is believed to be the largest leak in US military history, Wiki leaks released nearly a billion dollars worth of quasi-secret reports commissioned by the United States Congress. The 6780 reports, which were current as of then, were comprised of over 127,000 pages of material on some of the most contentious issues in the nation.
And then again in July of this year, the website published tens of thousands of secret documents about the war in Afghanistan. Among the most disturbing news released was the evidence that Pakistan is helping those in Afghanistan who are trying to kill our troops. These leaks compromised US security and put the life of every service personnel over there fighting at further risk.
Again, liberals defend their traitorous ways with the shield of the First Amendment. But they fail to take into account that with freedom; comes responsibility. Whatever their misguided reasons for the choices they make, they have become a real liability to the security of our country.
If they’re allowed to continue to go unchecked, freedom really will be just another word for “nothing left to lose.”

In NY, where I live; I think it’s safe to say that Andrew Cuomo could be wheeled in on life support, and still beat Carl Paladino by a landslide. What a train-wreck the Paladino campaign spiraled into.
To be fair, Paladino is a businessman, not a politician, but it looks like he never even bothered reading the Cliff notes to Politics 101. Talk about a loose-cannon, he pops his top at the slightest provocation (and Cuomo knows EVERY button to push.) To tell the truth, I’m surprised that Cuomo is still spending money to run his ads here on TV, since Paladino, himself; appears to have taken his ball and gone home.
We also have the distinction of having a seemingly insane auctioneer running for governor here in the Empire State. Jimmy McMillan, who’s running on his self-created, “My Rent Is Too Damn High” ticket, is apparently delusional, as well. It was reported yesterday that the flamboyant would-be politician DOESN’T EVEN PAY RENT. He barter’s handyman work with his buildings owner in exchange for his apartment. But hey, he’d fit right in with all the other scam-artists in Albany…
So, NY appears to be a lost cause.
Dateline: Delaware-Christine “I am not a witch” O’Donnell (R) appears to have really stepped up her game since that ridiculous ad in which she sought to reassure us all that there was no “Eye of Newt” in her cupboard. Unfortunately, that also means that she won’t be able to abracadabra Delaware’s economy back to health if she succeeds at being elected to that state’s senate.
I do not doubt that an exorbitant amount of coaching went into it, but I truly believe she redeemed herself in that last debate with Chris Coons (D). To me, Coons came across as a typical politician. He failed to even once directly answer any question asked of him. He spoke in platitudes and circled the wagons to the point that, by the time he was done rambling; the viewer could no longer even recall what the question was that he was responding to.
Now I’d like to discuss a topic that really has me bothered. It turns out that numerous Illinois counties failed to mail absentee ballots to overseas voters before the national deadline. If this doesn’t smack of corruption, I don’t know what ever will.
Let’s take a closer look at it: Obama’s administration is presently the most unpopular of all administrations before his. This is a direct result of the way he has ignored the will of the people. The way he and his goons have bullied and coerced voters to manipulate results. How he side-stepped the constitution by appointing Czars instead of political appointees that would have had to of been vetted and confirmed by the Senate, as a way to guarantee that he’d ram his personal agenda through. I could go on and on, but the point is; the pendulum has shifted and Americans are determined to be heard through their vote.
It seems a bit too coincidental that it was in Obama’s state of Illinois that this absentee ballot snafu occurred. Illinois, where corruption is as plentiful as that pseudo-pizza they love so much. And let’s take a minute to state the obvious. Most of the overseas ballots that were mailed late are for our men and women in the military who are, IRONICALLY, over there, putting their LIVES ON THE LINE TO DEFEND THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS THAT WE MAY HAVE SUCH FREEDOMS.
Here’s where it gets tied together; historically, military families have voted Republican and by eliminating their vote, I can only assume, the democrats believed they had a fighting chance at holding on to at least two of our branches of power. That way they could bulldoze their collective list of items through during the lame duck session of Congress after the November 2nd midterm elections.
But it won't be easy for the Democrats to advance their agenda as time runs out, given the slow deliberations of the Senate and the possibility that Republicans will immediately gain more seats in that chamber if they win special elections in West Virginia, Delaware and Illinois. Evidently the Illinois State Board of Elections and the U.S. Department of Justice are in their second day of talks to determine if a resolution can be found. Let’s all hope they resolve it on the side of our brave selfless military personnel.
Next up on the docket: the Bill O’Reilly/Juan Williams drama. I think we’re all up to speed on the overly-reported story of Whoopi and Joy of The View walking off their set in protest to Bill O’Reilly’s statement that “Muslims attacked us on 9/11”—A statement of fact; I might add, and not one of opinion.
Last night Juan was on O’Reilly’s show (as he often is) and made the statement that (paraphrasing here) he gets nervous when he’s traveling on a plane with Muslims. However, he then went on to tell O'Reilly that he had to be "careful" to stress that he was not talking about all Muslims when he criticized some and that America was not at war with Islam. He also compared blaming all Muslims for the actions of extremists to blaming all Christians for the actions of Timothy McVeigh. (O'Reilly responded that he was "done" being careful.)
It’s worth mentioning here that Mr. Williams is, himself; a Democrat. And before this morning, he had been a long-time news-analyst for National Public Radio (NPR.) Unfortunately, and quite possibly unconstitutionally, Juan was fired from NPR for the statement he made on O’Reilly’s show. NPR said in a statement that it gave Mr. Williams notice of his termination on Wednesday night.
Here’s the problem; WE THE PEOPLE fund NPR with our tax dollars and we have this little clause in the Constitution called the FIRST AMENDMENT, which guarantees Mr. Williams the right to make such a statements. Just as it protects the likes of Whoopi Goldberg and her ilk to disparage the very country that keeps them free.
Back we go to the First Amendment. My question: why do liberals hide behind it when it suits their needs, yet forget about it completely when confronted by anything that doesn’t gel with their beliefs? The Hypocrisy

How do we know liberals are getting desperate? Because they are throwing around baseless accusations about leading conservative groups. Like Liberty Central. And because they stopped paying attention to facts and are simply making up stories. All without a shred of evidence.
President Obama himself accused the U.S. Chamber of Commerce of using foreign money to influence domestic elections. When asked for proof, his top aide said ... and we are not making this up ... "Let's see them prove they're not doing it."
You see, liberals are way behind in the midterm election polls, and they are desperate. And, incredibly, this guilty-till-proven-innocent scheme is the centerpiece of their campaign!
They've used The New York Times - attack dog No.1 in the liberal kennel - to do the same to us at Liberty Central. In a recent editorial and feature story, The Times says we shouldn't be able to raise money unless we publish our legally confidential donor list.
What nonsense!
Liberty Central needs your help. We're two weeks from Election Day. How do we know liberals are getting desperate? Because they are throwing around baseless accusations about leading conservative groups. Like Liberty Central. And because they stopped paying attention to facts and are simply making up stories. All without a shred of evidence.
President Obama himself accused the U.S. Chamber of Commerce of using foreign money to influence domestic elections. When asked for proof, his top aide said ... and we are not making this up ... "Let's see them prove they're not doing it."
You see, liberals are way behind in the midterm election polls, and they are desperate. And, incredibly, this guilty-till-proven-innocent scheme is the centerpiece of their campaign!
They've used The New York Times - attack dog No.1 in the liberal kennel - to do the same to us at Liberty Central. In a recent editorial and feature story, The Times says we shouldn't be able to raise money unless we publish our legally confidential donor list.
What nonsense!

WTF??? Where Did My Plane Just Land???!!!
You are right on track....
Jennyfer, if you do not read this whole thing, read the first and last paragraphs…
Here is some basic information about Operation Sit In –
There are multiple millions of conservative Americans who are currently unemployed because of the economy. These people may or may not be drawing unemployment benefits, and even if they are, those benefits do not make for having a job as to what the family income is. Being unemployed however is a benefit to our Operation in this regard. They have the freedom of time and movement that is needed to put our plan into action, but they in all probability do not have the finances to pay to go to DC and put their freedom (the risk of arrest for non-violent ‘passive’ demonstration… i.e. SIT IN activity) on the line, not to mention the discomfort they will endure in order to stay ‘on station’ for up to 3 or 4 days straight. We will not be getting hotel rooms, because once we commit to this action, we are in it to the end, and the end is WE WIN.
Where and when are we SITTING IN? There is a bill currently in committee in the House, H.R. 5741, titled The Universal National Service Act. This bill could come to the floor of the house at almost any time. The most likely time it will be voted on is during the (hopefully) upcoming ‘Lame Duck’ session of congress. That is the period of time when a party in power has, via elections, lost the majority they hold, and know they will no longer be calling the shots in the next congress. But, since the elections this year are on Nov. 2, and the new congress is not seated until early January, those 60+ days are available to the outgoing party in power to do with as they please. And they have already adequately demonstrated their determination to shove anything they desire down the throats of the American People, whether the people are for it or not.
We will in all probability have only one chance to stop this horrendous bill, which includes provisions that literally place power in the hands of ‘the President’ to form a new national service organization and then to compel virtually any American to serve for two years in it (providing they do not volunteer to serve is an existing military or designated civilian service organization). That is ALL, male and female, between the ages of 18 and 42.
And the provisions in this bill granting ‘the President’ the power to form any new organization he ‘deems appropriate’ do not set ANY parameters or restrictions as to the nature of the new organizations, THUS this makes the President all but a DICTATOR, and in the case of President Obama, this will allow him to proceed to accomplish that which he spoke of on the campaign trail, to build a civilian force, just as well financed and armed as the U.S. military. The one opportunity we will have that gives us the most likely chance of defeating the passage of this law is to prevent the U.S. Senate from voting on it. We all know the results of writing letters, making phone call, sending emails etc. And I remind you that the definition of insanity is ‘to do the same thing, and expect a different result’. It is time to change our tactics.
We are going to physically impede access to the U.S. Senate Building, including the underground access form the underground train system. I realize that there may be other secret entrances to the building that the public does not know about, but I am convinced, that magnitude of our Operation will succeed, even if the Senators manage to get in and vote. The news coverage that even the main stream media of the United States will have to give this event will finally ‘force’ our legislators to listen to us for once. Why will the MSM cover this event, simple – because we will be there for DAYS if necessary, the world media will pick up the story, and the MSM will be forced to join in.
Folks, this may very well be the last chance those of who love our country and the foundational constitutional principles on which it was founded may have to turn things around before it slides past the point of no return without having to resort to an armed revolution, and believe me, I do not want it to get to that point. If it does, I will do my part, but I would prefer that we find a non-violent way to save our country. I believe that Operation Sit In is that way.
There are three ways we are asking Patriotic conservative Americans to step up to the plate. First and most difficult is we are asking for those who have the freedom of time and movement to be able to leave for DC at the drop of a hat (the scheduling of the Senate Vote on the Bill) to volunteer to go and place their comfort and possible freedom on the line. Second, for those who live close (60 miles or so of DC, who have a yard, driveway, or perhaps a business parking lot, to step forward as ‘Parking Hosts’ and agree to keep an eye on the cars of those going into DC to sit-in, and to help by transporting the front line volunteers to the nearest train station, or other point of public transportation into DC, and to agree to help when we return to our cars. Third, for those Americans who still have jobs, and therefore do not have the freedom of time and movement to go, to support those who can go financially.
We only ask your minimum pledge be $5 (or more depending on what you can afford). As the process unfolds, you will have a better idea of what to do. Since there are going to be around 10 or more donors for every person going, that is approx 30 or more people helping a 3 person carload. One main thing to remember is, whether you choose to meet with the person you are sponsoring, or not, before the trip is a GO, that in no case are we at Operation Sit In asking you give them the money you pledged UNTIL the trip IS ON. The people who are willing to risk arrest and will go through much discomfort in order to let their ‘voices’ be heard, and, by the way, in a very real way will be your ‘voice’s too, are instructed to not ask their sponsors for any money until the time to depart for DC. If they do, please notify your District or State Coordinator, or me. We plan, since they will all be in a fairly small geographical area, to give every sponsor the option of 'meeting' the other sponsors for their person going. This day you will have the opportunity, should you choose to, to meet other conservatives in your area, and together you may come up wit a formula of giving that will best make sure the trip is successful.

Do you question authority? Fail to accept conventional wisdom? Lose your temper when you hear a politician make a promise that you know he or she can’t keep?
If so, you may be mentally ill, according to the most recent revision of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). In this revision, psychiatrists hope to add dozens of new mental disorders. Unfortunately, many of these so-called illnesses target people who merely think or behave differently from the majority population.
A case in point is “oppositional defiant disorder (ODD).” DSM defines ODD as “an ongoing pattern of disobedient, hostile and defiant behavior toward authority figures.” Symptoms include losing one’s temper, annoying people and being “touchy.” Other “disorders” include antisocial behavior, arrogance, cynicism and narcissism. Sounds like many of my readers!
While diagnosis of ODD “victims” focuses on children, there’s no reason why ODD can’t exist in adults. Indeed, ODD can evolve into “conduct disorder” (CD), which DSM defines as “wherein the rights of others or social norms are violated.”
Uh-oh. So violating “social norms” is now a mental illness as well.
Let’s connect the dots, shall we? There’s a long and sordid history of governments using psychiatry for political repression. In the Soviet Union, thousands of political prisoners were detained in mental hospitals. There they were isolated from friends and family, and many cases, forcibly medicated. Nazi Germany went even further: it murdered over 180,000 psychiatric patients.
Laws in most states allow child protective services agencies to forcibly medicate your children. Indeed, if you fail to administer drugs ordered by a physician or have your children submit to vaccinations, you can be imprisoned.
As The Washington Post observed:
“If seven-year-old Mozart tried composing his concertos today, he might be diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and medicated into barren normality.”
The conversion of personality differences into psychiatric disorders, and the forced medication of children, is a dangerous trend. It is but a short step to extend these laws to adults who have a pattern of “negativistic, defiant, disobedient and hostile behavior toward authority figures.”
I’d prefer a different approach: institutionalizing the psychiatrists that came up with all these new disorders. Perhaps we could call their condition “overmedication psychosis.” And those of us with ODD, CD, or who simply don’t like the government telling us how to live our lives could breathe a bit easier.
I say, “BULLSHIT TO THIS”; I'm in school to be a shrink, but according to these new guidelines; I need a treating physician, as well (not that I don't ALREADY have one.) I believe it’s just another way to "label" a new population and qualify them for the government teat. BULLSHIT!!!
By the end of Oblahblah’s admin; he’ll have us so addicted to gov’t cheese that we’ll have to vote him back into office just to get our fix.
Let’s take a closer look at what we’re evolving to:
Food Stamps, Extended Unemployment, Easy access Welfare, Excuse Makers and Excuse Takers and of course; Universal Healthcare (which I’m still not sure that most American’s fail to realize; if they have a job, it ain’t gonna be free FOR THEM. They are mandated by BIG government to buy it and if they don’t it’s the shiny metal bracelets for them. Then when they’re locked up and lose the job that they were so lucky to have even had to begin with; we can get just a few more sheep sucking off the government nipple.
We need to CAP entitlements!!! Pull back on what’s covered. Why should those who live with their hand out be eating filet mignon why me and mine are eating chuck steak?
With the 9.7 unemployment rate, food stamps and the fact that so few of us are actually even paying our mortgages; we’ve become a country of, “gimmes.” Give me THIS and give me THAT.
“Hell to the NO, I ain’t working (after all this time off; I’ve forgotten how.) And why even would I, when I can get it for free?”
That’s not what made America great and unless the pendulum swings back real soon; we’ll NEVER BE GREAT AGAIN.

New TAX Laws...Coming Yo' WAY...
In just three months, the largest tax hikes in the history of America will take effect. They will hit families and small businesses in three great waves on January 1, 2011:
First Wave: Expiration of 2001 and 20... First Wave: Expiration of 2001 and 20... First Wave: Expiration of 2001 and 20...03 Tax Relief
In 2001 and 2003, the GOP Congress enacted several tax cuts for investors, small business owners, and families.
These will all expire on January 1, 2011:
Personal income tax rates will rise. The top income tax rate will rise from 35 to 39.6 percent (this is also the rate at which two-thirds of small business profits are taxed). The lowest rate will rise from 10 to 15 percent. All the rates in between will also rise. Itemized deductions an d personal exemptions will again phase out, which has the same mathematical effect as higher marginal tax rates. The full list of marginal rate hikes is below:
The 10% bracket rises to an expanded 15%
The 25% bracket rises to 28%
The 28% bracket rises to 31%
The 33% bracket rises to 36%
The 35% bracket rises to 39.6%
Higher taxes on marriage and family. The "marriage penalty" (narrower tax brackets for married couples) will return from the first dollar of income. The child tax credit will be cut in half from $1000 to $500 pe r child. The standard deduction will no longer be doubled for married couples relative to the single level. The dependent care and adoption tax credits will be cut.
The return of the Death Tax. This year, there is no death tax. For those dying on or after January 1 2011, there is a 55 percent top death tax rate on estates over $1 million. A person leaving behind two homes and a retirement account could easily pass along a death tax bill to their loved ones.
Higher tax rates on savers and investors. The capital gains tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 20 percent in 2011. The dividends tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 39.6 percent in 2011. These rates will rise another 3.8 percent in 2013.
Second Wave: Obamacare
There are over twenty new or higher taxes in Obamacare. Several will first go into effect on January 1, 2011. They include:
The "Medicine Cabinet Tax" Thanks to Obamacare, Americans will no longer be able to use health savings account (HSA), flexible spending account (FSA),
or health reimbursement (HRA) pre-tax dollars to purchase non-prescription, over-the-counter medicines (except insulin).
The "Special Needs Kids Tax" This provision of Obamacare imposes a cap on flexible spending accounts (FSAs) of $2500 (Currently, there is no federal government limit). There is one group of FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children. There are thousands of families with special needs children in the United States , and many of them use FSAs to pay for special needs education. Tuition rates at one leading school that teaches special needs children in Washington , D.C. ( National Child Research Center ) can easily exceed $14,000 per year. Under tax rules, FSA dollars can be used to pay for this type of special needs education.
The HSA Withdrawal Tax Hike. This provision of Obamacare increases the additional tax on non-medical early withdrawals from an HSA from 10 to 20 percent, disadvantaging them relative to IRAs and other tax-advantaged accounts, which remain at 10 percent.
Third Wave: The Alternative Minimum Tax and Employer Tax Hikes
When Americans prepare to file their tax returns in January of 2011, they'll be in for a nasty surprise-the AMT won't be held harmless, and many tax relief provisions will have expired. The major items include:
The AMT will ensnare over 28 million families, up from 4 million last year. According to the left-leaning Tax Policy Center , Congress' failure to index the AMT will lead to an explosion of AMT taxpaying families-rising from 4 million last year to 28.5 million. These families will have to calculate their tax burdens twice, and pay taxes at the higher level. The AMT was created in 1969 to ensnare a handful of taxpayers.
Small business expensing will be slashed and 50% expensing will disappear. Small businesses can normally expense (rather than slowly-deduct, or "depreciate") equipment purchases up to $250,000. This will be cut all the way down to $25,000. Larger businesses can expense half of their purchases of equipment. In January of 2011, all of it will have to be "depreciated."
Taxes will be raised on all types of businesses. There are literally scores of tax hikes on business that will take place. The biggest is the loss of the "research and experimentation tax credit," but there are many, many others. Combining high marginal tax rates with the loss of this tax relief will cost jobs.
Tax Benefits for Education and Teaching Reduced. The deduction for tuition and fees will not be available. Tax credits for education will be limited. Teachers will no longer be able to deduct classroom expenses. Coverdell Education Savings Accounts will be cut. Employer-provided educational assistance is curtailed. The student loan interest deduction will be disallowed for hundreds of thousands of families.
Charitable Contributions from IRAs no longer allowed. Under current law, a retired person with an IRA can contribute up to $100,000 per year directly to a charity from their IRA. This contribution also counts toward an annual "required minimum distribution." This ability will no longer be there.

Now your insurance is INCOME on your W2's......
One of the surprises we'll find come next year, is what follows - - a little "surprise" that 99% of us had no idea was included in the "new and improved" healthcare legislation . . . the dupes, er, dopes, who backed this administration will be astonished!
Starting in 2011, (next year folks), your W-2 tax form sent by your employer will be increased to show the value of whatever health insurance you are given by the company. It does not matter if that's a private concern or governmental body of some sort. If you're retired? So what; your gross will go up by the amount of insurance you get.
You will be required to pay taxes on a large sum of money that you have never seen. Take your tax form you just finished and see what $15,000 or $20,000 additional gross does to your tax debt. That's what you'll pay next year. For many, it also puts you into a new higher bracket so it's even worse.
This is how the government is going to buy insurance for the15% that don't have insurance and it's only part of the tax increases.

We're In The WRONG Gear!!!
With so much that has occurred in the two weeks since my last posting; I’m changing up the topics in this, Part Two of this series.
Suffice is to say, it has been more than strongly suggested by members of both parties that the Obama Administration’s refusal to lift the Jones Act, mostly has to do with protecting the pocketbooks of his union allies by keeping foreign vessels at bay.
The Jones Act is part of The Merchant Marine Act of 1920 is a United States Federal statute that regulates maritime commerce in U.S. waters and between U.S. ports.
Section 27, also known as the Jones Act, deals with cabotage (i.e., coastal shipping) and requires that all goods transported by water between U.S. ports be carried in U.S.-flag ships, constructed in the United States, owned by U.S. citizens, and crewed by U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents. The purpose of the law is to support the U.S. Maritime industry, sources.
In addition, amendments to the Jones Act, known as the Cargo Preference Act provide permanent legislation for the transportation of waterborne cargoes in U.S.-flag vessels.
Still, the issue is now seemingly moot seeing as how the Comrade in Chief did finally lift the act, no matter how late in the game, BP managed to cap the leak and the Gulf is thankfully in the process of being restored to its previous pristine condition.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of its inhabitants. It’s being reported that over 20,000 jobs have been lost due to the six-month drilling ban in the Gulf that has been enacted. Unemployment is already at its peak in US history with over half a million Americans (and if the idiot has his way, soon a few hundred thousand illegal’s) filing for unemployment benefits last week alone. That in mind, how sound of an executive decision does it seem to impose these restrictions to appease his tree-hugger friends, etc?
Moving on…Robert Gibbs, the White House press secretary, in my opinion, has the worst job in the world. He is basically paid to look like a bumbling idiot as a red herring to smoke and mirrors the fact that it is his boss, Obumbler, who is actually Le’ Incompetent. He appeared on Fox and Friends this morning and was interviewed by Gretchen Carlson.
When Carlson asked Gibbs if tonight the President will admit that the surge worked, the Press secretary replied that Obama always said that putting 20,000 more troops on the ground would work. Unfortunately for Gibbs, just before the interview, Carlson showed the audience a video where Candidate Obama said that adding the troops would not work.
Caught in a "misstatement" Gibbs went on the defensive and the fun ensued, including Carlson asking if President Obama was going to credit President Bush tonight during his speech for the success in Iraq--five times. Instead of answering the question, Gibbs counted the number of times Carlson asked. "That's the second time you asked the question...third...etc.” Predictably, Gretchen never got her answer, and so neither did we.
It’s being predicted that in his address to the nation tonight, Obama will announce that all US troops will be out of Iraq by the end of 2011. That, however, begs the question; with just around 50,000 troops still on the ground there and still no coherent government to speak of, with violence and upheaval at its highest rate in the 7.5 years we’ve been there; are we just abandoning a region whose soil is still fertile for terrorism?
Finally, last week while Osama, err…Obama took his 9th, 10th, 11th??? vacation since taking office (I can understand; I need a nap after power-spending at the mall. Difference is; I’m spending my own money), the House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) called Tuesday for the mass firing of the Obama administration's economic team, including Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner and White House adviser Larry Summers, arguing that November's midterm elections are shaping up as a referendum on sustained unemployment across the nation and saying the "writing is on the wall."
Boehner said President Obama's team lacks "real-world, hands-on experience" in creating jobs that are needed for a full economic recovery. The Republican lawmaker cited reports that some senior aides complained of "exhaustion," including the recently departed budget Chief Peter Orszag.
"President Obama should ask for - and accept - the resignations of the remaining members of his economic team, starting with Secretary Geithner and Larry Summers, the head of the National Economic Council," Boehner said in the morning speech to business leaders at the City Club of Cleveland. The mass dismissal, he added, would be "no substitute for a referendum on the president's job-killing agenda. That question will be put before the American people in due time. But we do not have the luxury of waiting months for the president to pick scapegoats for his failing 'stimulus' policies."
Vice President Biden lashed back at Boehner, called his "so-called" economic plan nothing but a list of what Republicans are against and devoid of innovative new ideas that can help move the country forward.
If this is forward; I’d hate to see reverse.

Ya Say Ya Wanna Revolution
The roof hasn’t collapsed yet, but the walls are caving in.
In this part of a new three part series called, “Ya Say Ya Want a Revolution,” we’re going to try to figure out what the hell he’s doing in Arizona with SB1070 (the new immigration law), the mosque at Ground Zero and that annoying Michele Obama commercial where she’s virtually begging us to send money to Haiti when it was reported yesterday that more American’s are collecting food stamps to feed their families as they wait for the sheriff to come serve them their eviction notices and put the lock on the door.
Part two is going to cover the Gulf oil spill and the real reason it took him so long to lift the Jones Act (hint, hint—unions), OGodHelpUs’s decision to finance off-shore drilling in Brazil, and his moratorium on deep water drilling in the Gulf.
Part three will cover and explain the new taxes coming our way, soon. So much for that campaign promise; along with all the others.

In March of 2010, rancher Bob Krentz and his dog were killed by an illegal alien from Mexico and just a couple of weeks ago two more American’s were murdered by who were believed to be Mexican drug lords. Forgive me, but I’d rather insult an alien and protect an American than have it the other way around, but that’s just me. No offense.
Critics of the legislation say it encourages racial profiling, while supporters say the law prohibits the use of race as the sole basis for investigating immigration status. The law was modified by Arizona House Bill 2162 within a week of its signing with the goal of addressing some of these concerns. There have been protests in opposition to the law in over 70 U.S. cities, including boycotts and calls for boycotts of Arizona. Polling has found the law to have majority support in Arizona, as well as nationwide. Passage of the measure has prompted other states to consider adopting similar legislation. And let’s hope they do; CLOSE OUR BORDERS!!!!
The mosque at Ground Zero is going to be a reality with President Obama weighing in forcefully, saying “…a nation built on religious freedom must allow it.”
“As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country,” Obama told a crowd gathered at the White House Friday evening to observe the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
He also then personally wished all Muslims around the world a happy Ramadan.
Who the hell is this guy? I wouldn’t be surprised to find him worshiping at the damn mosque himself in disguise.
The White House had not previously taken a stand on the mosque, which would be part of a $100 million Islamic community center two blocks from where nearly 3,000 people perished when hijacked jetliners slammed into the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001. Press secretary Robert Gibbs had insisted it was a local matter.
But Obumbler’s tune changed when he concluded “that that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances,” he said. “This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable.”
No offense, but this guy is either a terrorist, himself…or just a real idiot. Does he not get that when those bulldozers show up to dig up the ground and churn the earth, the MURDERED BODIES of AMERICAN CITIZENS will be bulldozed along with it? He gets it, seriously, how could he not…he just doesn’t care.
Now, on to Michelle, the racist that the socialist is married to. Who else is beginning to find her annoying in that commercial with her persistent plea for us to text, “fuck America” to 999999 to send Haiti $10.
Now don’t get me wrong, I had no problem with America responding to the immediate disaster, I’m not heartless, I saw the footage on TV; I even donated myself…but come on, it happened more than 7 months ago. In January there were 498000 claims for unemployment, last count in August of 2010, there were 14,000+ more filing.
1.41 MILLION Americans filed for personal bankruptcy in 2009, alone. Who has $10 bucks to send to Haiti? No offense, of course.

In this part of a new three part series called, “Ya Say Ya Want a Revolution,” we’re going to try to figure out what the hell he’s doing in Arizona with SB1070 (the new immigration law), the mosque at Ground Zero and that annoying Michele Obama commercial where she’s virtually begging us to send money to Haiti when it was reported yesterday that more American’s are collecting food stamps to feed their families as they wait for the sheriff to come serve them their eviction notices and put the lock on the door.
Part two is going to cover the Gulf oil spill and the real reason it took him so long to lift the Jones Act (hint, hint—unions), OGodHelpUs’s decision to finance off-shore drilling in Brazil, and his moratorium on deep water drilling in the Gulf.
Part three will cover and explain the new taxes coming our way, soon. So much for that campaign promise; along with all the others.

If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 15 months -- so you'll have two years and nine months to come up with an answer.

Maricopa County, AZ is under seize. WE MUST contact our elected officals and DEMAND that our borders BE CLOSED NOW!!!!! Not only that, but WE'RE paying for their every cold/pregnacy when it envtiibly it happens, Not sure, but I'M sick of it.
FIVE American citizens were MURDERED just this week along the border of the US and Mexico; but I guess that our gringo's musta got in the way by eatingg dinner in an outside cafe or walking along the blvd.....and now NOTHING, NOTHING, will EVER, EVER bring them back. Just imagine if that American was you...

What a clusterf*%k
OK, let's get to the thick of it; the G20 summit was a blaring failure.
Basically, the rest of the globe told our "comrade-in-chief" to go STICK IT; the gravy train has dried out and they're done financing his universal spending spree. His allegiance is questionable and his intentions are ill-defined.
President Obama warned that the world economic recovery remains "fragile" and urged continued spending to support growth, however, the president's remarks tempered the Group of 20's headline achievement at the summit, which is a deficit-reduction target that had been pushed by Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the host of the meeting and a fiscal conservative.
It'll be interesting to see how Obutterfinger rationalizes the health care reform bill(which alone is expected to add an additional trillion to our already epic national debt.) Especially with the mammoth tax increase every American will suffer if he can somehow ram cap and trade through the legislatures.
Simply put, cap and trade is a a carbon cap and trade scheme, and if it works perfectly, it basically functions the same as an energy tax. The Waxman-Markey cap and trade bill currently under consideration in Congress is no different. In 2007, MIT did a study on the costs of cap and trade and found that cap and trade proposals that would reduce carbon emission by 50% to 80% below 1990 levels by 2050 would cost the American household $800 a year in economic losses and $3,100 a year in taxes collected by the federal government. That’s a total $3,900 cost for the average American household.
WHAT HAPPENED TO NO NEW TAXES?
Extortion does not protect the public. They are using false science for a regulating rationale. They are over reaching by extorting money in the name of safety; a form of Tyranny that can not be allowed.
SAFETY FROM WHAT??? It is strictly a way for certain legislators who are heavily invested in these alternative energies to assist them in padding their portfolios. Look at the Speaker and how much she invested in wind mills.
It is time to remove these extortionists from office. Pre-emptive punishment can not be used under the constitutional law.
Cap and trade would just further enrich Obama’s billionaire friends while helping him achieve his goal of transforming the U.S. into another socialist/communist GULAG like Cuba.

“Progressive” (communist) politicians like Obama seem determined to force us to swallow the man-made global warming scam. We need to defend ourselves from the United Nations and these politicians, who threaten our future and the future of our children. Based on a lie, they have already wasted billions and plan to increase taxes and increase the cost of energy, which will limit development, destroy our economy and enslave us.
If not stopped, the global warming scam will enrich the scammers (Gore and Obama’s Wall Street friends), increase the power of the United Nations and communists like Obama, and multiply poverty and servitude for the rest of us.
Obama, Pelosi and Reid are all about government being in total of control of each and everything you do, you own and how it is bought and the next thing will be he will find a way to control the thermostat you have in your house.
The saddest part of it all is that the true Americans, those here legally, will be the ones forking over our hard-earned already doubled taxed (state/federal) money, while the illegals, who Czar Obama is now suing Arizona to protect their rights will still be paying no taxes at all.
The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Phoenix, argues that Arizona's law requiring state and local police to question anyone they reasonably suspect of being an illegal immigrant undermines the federal government's authority.
Now I don't know about you, but if I get pulled over by the police for whatever, I'm required to produce identification, aren't you? The law doesn't allow cops to go running up, willey-nilley to anyone with unjust cause, and furthermore; it is an extension of an already existing Federal law.
So let's wrap up this cluster fuck by examining, "card check."
Card check--the most radical revision of labor law since 1935--would allow unions to do away with secret ballots, a fundamental right in a democracy, and unionize companies simply by coaxing, cajoling or coercing a majority of workers into signing a card. It came alarmingly close to being enacted last year when the House overwhelmingly passed the fraudulently named Employee Free Choice Act. The Republican minority in the Senate eventually filibustered the legislation.
But card check will be bad for workers and businesses. And why McCain wasn't shouting this from the rooftops is one of the big mysteries of his campaign.
Unions have been losing membership steadily since their heyday in the 1950s when nearly 35% of the American workforce belonged to a union, compared with 7.5% today. Indeed, even as the economy added more than 9.5 million jobs between 1999 and 2006, unions lost more than 1 million members.
But instead of enticing reluctant workers by offering better prices or services--as a club losing membership would do--unions want to effectively coerce them by taking away their right to a fair vote. Furthermore, Big Labor wants to eliminate the elections required to form a union, while keeping them for when workers want to remove an existing union. This is a flagrant double-standard designed to turn workers into union hostages.
Basically, it's another softball toss to the power's that be, by stepping on the heads of the average American.

The General and the Community Organizer

Channel-surfing from ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN through MSNBC and Fox News, the inside-the-beltway pundits had a field day trying to get inside the heads of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, General Stanley McChrystal, and McChrystal's top aides. The one thing common to all of the analyses, by the most famous and highly-paid talking heads in the Western World, was that they are all wrong… dead wrong. What is certain is that they all owe General McChrystal and his senior aides an apology for assuming that they are lame-brained numbskulls.
The facts of the McChrystal case are not in dispute. General McChrystal and his senior officers allowed a reporter for Rolling Stone Magazine, Michael Hastings, to have almost unprecedented access during an extended stay in Paris. The extended stay was due, in part, to an excess of atmospheric ash from Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano, keeping the McChrystal party grounded for days.
In an interview with CNN, Hastings reported that he had a tape recorder in his hand most of the time and that McChrystal was "very aware" that his comments would find their way into print. He said, "McChrystal and his people set no ground rules for their conversations, although they did ask that some parts of their conversations were off the record." Hastings subsequently published a lengthy profile of General McChrystal on June 22, titled, The Runaway General.
As Hastings wrote in his profile, McChrystal thought that Obama looked "uncomfortable and intimidated" by the roomful of military brass during their first meeting. Of their second meeting, an advisor to McChrystal quoted the general as saying that it was "a 10-minute photo op." He went on to say, "Obama clearly didn't know anything about (McChrystal), who he was.
Here's the guy who's going to run his f_ _ _ing war, but he didn't seem very engaged. The Boss was pretty disappointed."
As General McChrystal flew from Afghanistan to Washington to face Obama in the Oval Office, the almost unanimous opinion of the talking heads was that the comments made by McChrystal and his staff were off the cuff and inadvertent. But to believe that is to totally ignore who these men are.
General McChrystal and his top officers are not simple-minded, knuckle-dragging brutes. To the contrary, they are intelligent, thoughtful, highly educated, patriots… graduates of West Point and other fine universities… who are dedicated to duty, honor, and country. To think that such men would be so careless as to speak unflatteringly of Obama, Biden, and other top administration figures, in the presence of a reporter for a notoriously left wing publication, defies logic… at the very least. To think that men who are trained to be careful and deliberate in everything they do, could do something so careless and so unguarded is simply beyond comprehension.
I would argue that McChrystal and his aides knew exactly what they were doing.
From the day that he became the handpicked "spear carrier" for Obama's unique brand of warfare… playing at being Commander in Chief while playing to his far left constituency… McChrystal's life had been one of constant frustration. After telling Obama exactly how many troops he needed to carry out his mission, Obama dithered for months before deciding to give him just half the troops he requested. McChrystal could not have been happy about that.
The Obama team insisted on new Rules of Engagement (ROE) designed to reduce collateral damage (civilian casualties). Obama's ROE required that U.S.
troops must be able to see the enemy with weapon in hand before they were allowed to return fire. One videotape circulated on the Internet showed a platoon of Marines pinned down by enemy sniper fire. But since the enemy was firing from some distance behind the open window of a building, the Marines could not actually see the weapon being fired. Although they were taking deadly fire, they were prohibited by the ROE from putting small arms fire or an RPG through the window opening.
Under Obama's politically correct ROE, our soldiers and Marines were required to fight with one hand tied behind their backs. McChrystal could not have been happy about that.
A strict new interrogation policy, dictated by Attorney General Eric Holder, required that prisoners must be delivered to an Interrogation Center within twenty-four hours of being captured or be released. A great deal of actionable intelligence was lost as a result and battle-hardened enemy fighters were returned to the field to kill Americans. McChrystal must have found that to be incomprehensible.
But the greatest insult to our troops in the field, and to the officers who lead them, may be a new battlefield medal designed by the Obama team. It is called the Courageous Restraint Medal and is awarded to soldiers and Marines who demonstrate uncommon restrain in combat by not firing their weapons even when they feel threatened by the enemy. Would we be surprised to learn that the preponderance of these medals were awarded posthumously? McChrystal must have found that to be an insanity.
I suggest that, having his best military judgments subjected to the White House political sieve for nearly a year and a half, McChrystal decided that he'd had enough. And when he announced to his senior staff that he was prepared to retire they decided to push back… to make the most of a bad situation. It was clear that, if McChrystal were to simply take off his uniform and walk away, his retirement would be page-twenty news for a day or two before the mainstream media and the American people forgot all about him.
They had to make the most of his retirement because it provided a one-time opportunity to show the American people, as well as our enemies and our allies, that the man who claims the title of Commander in Chief of the U.S.
military does not command the respect of our men and women in uniform. To make the most of that opportunity they had to choose their messenger very carefully.
They knew that, by openly showing their disrespect for Obama in front of just any newsman, they may not attract the attention they desired. Like any astute observer of the MSM, they knew that most reporters would turn on their own mothers if it meant a good story. But they could not take a chance that a mainstream media reporter might suffer a rare pang of conscience when confronted with the prospect of ruining the careers of some of the most senior officers in the War on Terror. They had to fix the odds as much as possible in their favor so they chose to use Michael Hastings and Rolling Stone Magazine.
During the long hours that General McChrystal was in the air between Kabul and Washington, Obama knew that he had just two choices… both bad. He could declare McChrystal to be an irreplaceable asset in the war effort, give him a public reprimand, and send him back to Kabul. Or he could fire McChrystal, sending a clear message that, at least in his own mind, he was the Commander in Chief.
In the former case, he was certain to appear weak and ineffectual… a man not totally in charge. In the latter case, he might at least win a few rave reviews from the Kool-Ade drinkers in the mainstream media. He chose the latter of the two options.
But what is now lost in all of the hand-wringing and speculation is the fact that McChrystal and his people have succeeded in doing exactly what they set out to do. They wanted to plant the seed in the minds of the American people that Obama is not up to the task of being Commander in Chief and that he does not command the respect of the men and women of the uniformed services… from the newest Private E-1 up to the top four-star generals and admirals.
That seed is now firmly planted and it cannot be unplanted.
From this day forward, no one will have to tell the American people that Stanley McChrystal is a true warrior, a man's man, and that Barack Obama is nothing more than a… community organizer. Well done, General!

So, here's one plan.'
1) 'The US, UK , CANADA and AUSTRALIA will apologize to the world for our 'interference' in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those 'good 'ole' boys', we will never 'interfere' again.
2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany , South Korea , the Middle East , and the Philippines . They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.
3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are from. They're illegal!!! France will welcome them.
4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit!!!! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.
5) No foreign 'students' over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a 'D' and it's back home baby.
6) The US, UK , CANADA and AUSTRALIA will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise.. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while
7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)
8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not 'interfere.' They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.
9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.
10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us 'Ugly Americans' any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH..learn it...or LEAVE...Now, isn't that a winner of a plan?

This is for all the kids born in the 70's who do
Not remember, and didn't have to bear the
Burden that our fathers, mothers and older
Brothers and sisters had to bear.
Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the
'100 Women of the Century.'

Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still
Countless others have never known how Ms.
Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country,
But specific men who served and sacrificed
During Vietnam.
The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot.
The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat.
In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF
Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison
The "Hanoi Hilton."
Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell,
Cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was
Ordered to describe for a visiting American
'Peace Activist' the 'lenient and humane
Treatment he'd received.
He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was
Dragged away.
During the subsequent beating, he fell forward
On to the camp Commandant 's feet, which
Sent that officer berserk.
In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from
Double vision (which permanently ended his
Flying career) from the Commandant's frenzied
Application of a wooden baton.
From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the
47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the
' Hanoi Hilton',,, the first three of which his
family only knew he was 'missing in action'.
His wife lived on faith that he was still alive.
His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and
clothed routine in preparation for a
'peace delegation' visit.
They, however, had time and devised a plan to
Get word to the world that they were alive
And still survived. Each man secreted a tiny
piece of paper, with his Social Security Number
on it, in the palm of his hand.
When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a
cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each
man's hand and asking little encouraging
snippets like: 'Aren't you sorry you bombed
babies?' and 'Are you grateful for the humane
treatment from your benevolent captors?'
Believing this HAD to be an act, they each
palmed her their sliver of paper.
She took them all without missing a beat.. At the
end of the line and once the camera stopped
rolling; to the shocked disbelief of the POWs,
she turned to the officer in charge and handed
him all the little pieces of paper.
BECAUSE OF JANE FONDA.. Three men died from the subsequent beatings.
Colonel Carrigan was almost number four
But he survived, which is the only reason we
know of her actions that day.
I was a civilian economic development advisor
in Vietnam , and was captured by the North
Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in
1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.
I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one
year in a cage in Cambodia; and one year
in a 'black box' in Hanoi.
My North Vietnamese captors deliberately
poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a
nurse in a leprosarium in Ban me Thuot, South
Vietnam , whom I buried in the jungle near the
Cambodian border.
At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs.
(My normal weight is 170 lbs)
We were Jane Fonda's 'war criminals..'
When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi , I was asked by
the camp communist political officer if I would
be willing to meet with her.
I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real
treatment we POWs received... And how
different it was from the treatment purported by
the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as
'humane and lenient.'
Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky
floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched
with large steel weights placed on my hands,
and beaten with a bamboo cane.
I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda
soon after I was released. I asked her
if she would be willing to debate me on TV.
She never did answer me.
These first-hand experiences do not exemplify
someone who should be honored as part
of '100 Years of Great Women.'
Lest we forget...' 100 Years of Great Women'
should never include a traitor whose hands are
covered with the blood of so many patriots.
There are few things I have strong visceral
reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in
blatant treason, is one of them.
Please take the time to forward to as many
people as you possibly can.
It will eventually end up on her computer and
she needs to know that we will never forget.

A Chicago doctor, not to be outdone said, “You guys are way behind. We took a man with no brains out of Chicago; put him in the White House, now half the country is looking for work.”Sorry, but to be fair; I wanted to open with a joke, since you won’t be laughing much after you read this. Awhile ago I heard rumblings that the BO administration was leaning heavily towards levying a “snack tax.” Basically what that means is there’d be a VAT (value added tax) attached to the purchase price of things like juice drinks and soda. Many European countries have it in ADDITION to paying 50% of their salary in income tax. As per the usual with Chicago politics...there’s always another layer; like a magician who’s third hand has found its way into your wallet. Osama, err...Obama’s VAT tax is the back door way of sneaking in a tax hike on the middle and lower classes...those his hollow campaign promises (ha ha) vowed he wouldn’t raise taxes on. It was also just reported that at the end of 2011, there’d be a middle class tax hike. Oops, sorry...but someone’s gotta pay for all this shit. Oh, and another thing... the definition of middle class has been reduced from $250,000 to $200,000; just FYI. I checked again today and yup, UNEMPLOYMENT is still HOLDING FAST at 9.7%...ummmm; hello, IS THIS THING ON??? Did no one but me hear him when he GUARANTEED us (after stealing the first Billion) that if we got the stimulus bill passed-right now!!- that we wouldn’t see unemployment top 9%? And not for nothing, but 9.7% is a heck of a lot better than the OVER 10%we were looking at just a few short months ago. The quarterly, “Jobs Creation Report,” turned out to be a roaring success...on paper. The fact is that it is focused purely on short-term PUBLIC sector positions; with the 2010 Census Taker’s making up the bulk of the surge. The bottom line is, if you don’t support the private sector, you’re forever beholden to a welfare state. True, the 1st of the month check career is a “livin easy” lifestyle, but who supports it after the 9 to 5’ers give up, too? Government assistance was created and designed to support those who grew too frail, were left on their own too young or became too disabled to work...not for those just too lazy to. And somehow with all these bailout’s and all of the government’s increased spending; Vice President Biden (who seriously makes Dan Quayle look like the president of MENSA) announced at a recent press conference that there’s, “NO WAY TO RECOVER THE 8 MILLION JOBS THAT WERE LOST DURING THE RECESSION.” When America wakes up, I’m pretty sure there will be at least TWO openings real soon...and evidently; sadly, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
