OPERATION AMERICAN SPRING-MAY 16TH, 2014

Harry Riley, COL, Ret. is calling upon millions of patriots to march upon Washington D.C. to remove Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, and Attorney General Holder from Office.
He has termed it “OPERATION AMERICAN SPRING – Beginning Of Tyranny Housecleaning” and it’s due to commence May 16, 2014.

There are 3 primary phases to the plan:

Phase 1 – Field millions, as many as ten million, patriots to assemble in a peaceful, non-violent, physically unarmed.

Phase 2 – At least one million of the assembled 10 million to stay in D.C. as long as it takes to see Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, and Attorney General Holder removed from office.

Phase 3 – Politicians with the principles of a West; Cruz, Dr. Ben Carson, Lee, DeMint, Paul, Gov Walker, Sessions, Gowdy, Jordan, to comprise a tribunal to convene investigations and recommend appropriate charges against politicians and government employees who have violated the Constitution
God bless Colonel Riley and all patriots in this historic effort to restore our country!

One can easily see why this administration fears and loathes veterans. It’s patriots like Colonel Riley that can undo their tyrannical agenda.

Let’s make 2014 the year we take our country back!

OPERATION AMERICAN SPRING OAS

(Please add the above title and some or all data from below to your FB, Twitter, Blog, Email list)

TO:  Patriots (black, white, male, female, civilian, military, truckers, bikers, militias, veterans, old, young, every American that loves freedom and liberty)

Mission:
Restoration of Constitutional government, rule of law, freedom, liberty “of the people, for the people, by the people” from despotic and tyrannical federal leadership.

Assumptions:

Millions of Americans will participate.

American veterans and patriots are energized to end the tyranny, lawlessness, and shredding of the US Constitution.

Government is not the target, it is sound; corrupt and criminal leadership must be removed. Those in power will not hesitate to use force against unarmed, peaceful patriots exercising their constitutional rights.
Patriots may be killed, wounded, incarcerated.

There is no hope given today’s technology of secrecy for the effort nor do we want it secret.

Concept of Operations:

Phase 1 – Field millions, as many as ten million, patriots who will assemble in a peaceful, non-violent, physically unarmed (Spiritually/Constitutionally armed), display of unswerving loyalty to the US Constitution and against the incumbent government leadership, in Washington, D.C., with the mission to bring down the existing leadership. Go full-bore, no looking back, steadfast in the mission.

Phase 2 - One million or more of the assembled 10 million must be prepared to stay in D.C. as long as it takes to see Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, and Attorney General Holder removed from office. The senior republican in the US House of Representatives will become Speaker of the House and the US House of Representatives will elect a temporary President and Vice President of the United States. The U.S. Senate will take action to elect a new majority and minority leader.
As required, the U.S. Congress will execute appropriate legislation to convene new elections or U.S. States will appoint replacements for positions vacated consistent with established constitutional requirements.

Phase 3 – Those with the principles of a West, Cruz, Dr. Ben Carson, Lee, DeMint, Paul, Gov Walker, Sessions, Gowdy, Jordan, will comprise a tribunal and assume positions of authority to convene investigations, recommend appropriate charges against politicians and government employees to the new U.S. Attorney General appointed by the new President.

*All actions in Phase 2 & 3 will be consistent with the U.S. Constitution.

Date of Operation: “OPERATION AMERICAN SPRING – Beginning Of Tyranny Housecleaning, May 16, 2014, completion to be determined.

We are past the point of no return, thus must move forward with an effort to save our nation, as there is no other choice. We are asking, pleading with you, and any others that have resources, national voices, email lists, blogs, FB, Twitter, to call for a non-violent American Spring May 16 2014 in Washington D.C. We must appeal to ten million and more American patriots to come and stay in Washington, D.C. to stop the White House and Congress from total destruction of the United States. It’s now or never.

 God help us.

…..the law of nature rules. A fluffy, cuddly lamb gets eaten by a mean old wolf is not an illegal or immoral event…the law of nature. When some greedy, self-serving occupant of the White House or Congress, or elements outside America, is threatening our existence, our freedom, our liberty, our Constitution, our life resources, our America, then we fight back to destroy the threat and there is nothing immoral or illegal about it. When the government becomes lawless, then “we the people” no longer are obligated to follow the government……there is no law when government picks and chooses for political purposes or personal agenda. At this time the government is performing as a lawless entity……

A duck cannot be turned into a fox; an elephant cannot be turned into a flea; the laws of nature will not permit.

Likewise, a nation ordained and principled by the laws of nature, sovereign, free, with liberty for all cannot naturally become a nation guided by royalty, decrees, tyranny, elitist, self-serving criminals. The former has proven desirable, the latter has proven human pain.

“We can become a nation guided by royalty IF “we the people” beguiled by the government in surrender to our lusts for that which we have not earned –for what is not natural –if we have become intoxicated by unbroken success” as Lincoln proclaimed in March 30 ,1863 call for fasting, humiliation, and prayer–we can very easily heap to ourselves leaders, and with itching ears, be turned from the Truth to become enslaved by the LIE.”

The United States of America (elephant) while embracing the “LIE” is teetering on the abyss of becoming a sniveling, blood sucking, undesirable nation (flea).

OPERATION AMERICAN SPRING will be a gigantic step in removing the flea infestation that is sucking the blood out of America.

We see no reasonable, hopeful sign that indicates there are honorable, loyal, mature, critical thinking, experienced people in government that understands the chaos about to rain down on America, nor do they care….Our only hope is that “we the people” call, organize, and draw a few million patriots to stay in D.C. for an “American Spring”. It would be the catalyst to draw the line and bring to a conclusion a decision on the out of control government, one way or the other. America will rise up or surrender………for me, I only go to my knees in the presence of God Almighty………..my knees will not touch the surface as a result of some piss ant occupant of the White House or a corrupt legislator, or outside element…I will fall to my death standing if necessary.

There is not much time and the only planning necessary is to select a starting date, which has been done, and then show up in Washington, D.C. on that date, and plan to stay for the duration. The goal is restoring the US Constitution as the law of the land, removing the lawless leadership. Will this be a cake-walk? No, it will be painful, and some people may die because the government will not be non-violent; some of us will end up in a cell, and some may be injured. If that’s what it will take to save our nation, do we have any choice?
Freedom loving Americans will say there is no choice, we must begin the second American Revolution.

Not with guns, but with millions of Americans demanding a return to constitutional government and the resignation of Obama, Biden, Reid, McConnell, Boehner, Pelosi, and Holder as a start…then the constitutional restoration process can begin. An AMERICAN SPRING can be avoided only if the above mentioned officials resign.

Will our national patriot leaders step forward and declare, “send me”, I’ll lead? There are millions of veterans and patriots ready to follow and have said “I will go."

I urge all organizations, groups, particularly veterans and military retirees begin planning to visit Washington, D.C beginning May 16, 2014. Keep tuned to Constitutional Emergency/Patriots for America www.patriotsforamerica.ning.com for updates and guidance.

Please bathe this effort in prayer as there is no personal agenda or gain save liberty, freedom, and restoration of constitutional government for “we the people”.

This War Is Killing USAll

*****Here's another draft that I failed to post. Originally written on
June 4th, 2008, even before Obumbler "won" the election*****

Hate to say, "I told you so", so I won't. I'll just nonchalantly mention that it is personally gratifying to scroll back through my initial postings and recognize the alarming accuracy with which I warned of the Obama "unknowns."

That satisfaction, however, fails to linger when I stop to consider that the momentum that had already built up behind him may still prove strong enough to carry him through to a victory in November. That momentum may say less about the one it carries than it does about those who sustain its course.

Youth: bitter, disenfranchised, fleeting, youth.

Looking back through history, I don't think since the explosion of the 1960's anti-war movement that there's been a generation of young adults that have not felt disaffected, inclined towards indifference, either absorbed with or lost to; themselves.

Satisfaction it seems, went the way of sock hops and skating waitresses and truth be told, mores' the pity.

We will never be innocent again.

A lot of the Obama mystique can be directly attributed to the liberal media. So damn excited were they to have themselves a new poster child for change, they neglected, as they are wont to do when it comes to resolving conflicts of interest, to do any fact checking behind the shiny facade.

It was enough that he was giving them their six o'clock lead-in twenty second sound bites and Nielsen grabbing photo ops. After all, they had just suffered eight l...o...n...g years through G double U, with his mangled pronunciations and down home matte finish, that they felt justified in exchanging journalistic integrity for hollow words and high gloss.

If you watch the speeches that Mr. Obama has been giving lately; his combined apology/claims of ignorance/steadfast denial colloquies, you can see the difference in his delivery from smooth self assurance to stumbling, sticky defensiveness. If it's this bad now, and it's only his own side that's investigating him, imagine the field day the Republicans are headed for in terms of discovery.

But even their discoveries might not be enough to turn the tide, and a lot of that is their own fault; or the perception of it being so. Take a look around, if you can afford the gas, and drive up and down any street; see how many foreclosures you can count with the kids (free entertainment AND educational).

America and Americans are hurting and it's not just a boo-boo. We are bleeding red, white and blue at mortality speed and our present administration doesn't seem to know how to hit the brakes.

I don't know why they refuse to see that the war has gone on too long. I'm sure our withdrawal won't be an instant cure, but it'll go a long way towards our recovery. I mean, we accomplished our objective, Hussein is gone. It's too damn bad the region is unstable and the people aren't equipped to take care of themselves and I don't want to hear the argument that if we don't stay there another terrorist will emerge.

News flash: Americans are no longer equipped to take care of themselves and you can bet another terrorist is surely being groomed in a deep cave somewhere, under our nose and we're still not aware. Terrorists are like that carnival game with the sledge hammer and the heads; you beat one down and another one pops right up.

We'll never get them all because the specific person doesn't matter; it's the ideas, the beliefs, and the convictions that are ingrained in them, some from birth. We will never win that game. I agree, we needed to retaliate for the attacks on our towers, to reaffirm to the world, after a crippling wound, that we would not be intimidated and we will never succumb. But it's over, we captured the king--the dictator's dead.

Ground control to Major Tom: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

It's going to amount to being another strike against McCain and he's already got those other 72 years against him. Propriety probably dictates that he not say a word, lest he appear to be criticizing not only Bush, but the Party he belongs to, as well. I wouldn't care, in politics it's: kill or be killed and if old bones really wants to win, he better start yapping about pulling us out.

I guess now is as good a time as any to formally announce that on August 17th, I'll once again be an Ex patriot. I have decided to teach English overseas and I've just accepted a contract in Dubai. Unlike those all talk democrats who were "moving out if Bush got reelected," I'm honoring my silent vow to do the same if Obama gets in.

Matter of fact, I'm taking it a step further and making a preemptive strike since it doesn't matter anyway, neither party shares my beliefs.

My point in telling you this now is so that I may end this post with a quote I came across while researching the lifestyle, culture, religion, and political climate of my new home.

"A majority of Americans have now lost faith in Bush, cheerleader for America's conservative right wing and its allies in the region who still view Arabs as backward and primitive. They seek to offer guidance, though guidance of that kind is the last thing we need. Ironically, liberals in the region were once thrilled by US policies, seeing in them a promise that they could become a political alternative. That was never on the cards. It seems that we have to choose between Bush's counterfeit democracy, brutish liberals who make a travesty of their own doctrine or ugly and corrupt regimes. But what about ordinary people? What about their needs? Has anyone thought of them?"

...I think I hear a movement calling my name.

Here is the text of tonights State of the Union Address

Here is the text of President Barack Obama’s State of the Union Address as prepared for delivery at 9 p.m. ET on 1/25/11:

Mr. Speaker, Mr. Vice President, Members of Congress, distinguished guests, and fellow Americans:

Tonight I want to begin by congratulating the men and women of the 112th Congress, as well as your new Speaker, John Boehner. And as we mark this occasion, we are also mindful of the empty chair in this Chamber, and pray for the health of our colleague – and our friend – Gabby Giffords.

It’s no secret that those of us here tonight have had our differences over the last two years. The debates have been contentious; we have fought fiercely for our beliefs. And that’s a good thing. That’s what a robust democracy demands. That’s what helps set us apart as a nation.

But there’s a reason the tragedy in Tucson gave us pause. Amid all the noise and passions and rancor of our public debate, Tucson reminded us that no matter who we are or where we come from, each of us is a part of something greater – something more consequential than party or political preference.

We are part of the American family. We believe that in a country where every race and faith and point of view can be found, we are still bound together as one people; that we share common hopes and a common creed; that the dreams of a little girl in Tucson are not so different than those of our own children, and that they all deserve the chance to be fulfilled.

That, too, is what sets us apart as a nation.

Now, by itself, this simple recognition won’t usher in a new era of cooperation. What comes of this moment is up to us. What comes of this moment will be determined not by whether we can sit together tonight, but whether we can work together tomorrow.

I believe we can. I believe we must. That’s what the people who sent us here expect of us. With their votes, they’ve determined that governing will now be a shared responsibility between parties. New laws will only pass with support from Democrats and Republicans. We will move forward together, or not at all – for the challenges we face are bigger than party, and bigger than politics.

At stake right now is not who wins the next election – after all, we just had an election. At stake is whether new jobs and industries take root in this country, or somewhere else. It’s whether the hard work and industry of our people is rewarded. It’s whether we sustain the leadership that has made America not just a place on a map, but a light to the world.

We are poised for progress. Two years after the worst recession most of us have ever known, the stock market has come roaring back. Corporate profits are up. The economy is growing again.

But we have never measured progress by these yardsticks alone. We measure progress by the success of our people. By the jobs they can find and the quality of life those jobs offer. By the prospects of a small business owner who dreams of turning a good idea into a thriving enterprise. By the opportunities for a better life that we pass on to our children.

That’s the project the American people want us to work on. Together.

We did that in December. Thanks to the tax cuts we passed, Americans’ paychecks are a little bigger today. Every business can write off the full cost of the new investments they make this year. These steps, taken by Democrats and Republicans, will grow the economy and add to the more than one million private sector jobs created last year.

But we have more work to do. The steps we’ve taken over the last two years may have broken the back of this recession – but to win the future, we’ll need to take on challenges that have been decades in the making.

Many people watching tonight can probably remember a time when finding a good job meant showing up at a nearby factory or a business downtown. You didn’t always need a degree, and your competition was pretty much limited to your neighbors. If you worked hard, chances are you’d have a job for life, with a decent paycheck, good benefits, and the occasional promotion. Maybe you’d even have the pride of seeing your kids work at the same company.

That world has changed. And for many, the change has been painful. I’ve seen it in the shuttered windows of once booming factories, and the vacant storefronts of once busy Main Streets. I’ve heard it in the frustrations of Americans who’ve seen their paychecks dwindle or their jobs disappear – proud men and women who feel like the rules have been changed in the middle of the game.

They’re right. The rules have changed. In a single generation, revolutions in technology have transformed the way we live, work and do business. Steel mills that once needed 1,000 workers can now do the same work with 100. Today, just about any company can set up shop, hire workers, and sell their products wherever there’s an internet connection.

Meanwhile, nations like China and India realized that with some changes of their own, they could compete in this new world. And so they started educating their children earlier and longer, with greater emphasis on math and science. They’re investing in research and new technologies. Just recently, China became home to the world’s largest private solar research facility, and the world’s fastest computer.

So yes, the world has changed. The competition for jobs is real. But this shouldn’t discourage us. It should challenge us. Remember – for all the hits we’ve taken these last few years, for all the naysayers predicting our decline, America still has the largest, most prosperous economy in the world. No workers are more productive than ours. No country has more successful companies, or grants more patents to inventors and entrepreneurs. We are home to the world’s best colleges and universities, where more students come to study than any other place on Earth.

What’s more, we are the first nation to be founded for the sake of an idea – the idea that each of us deserves the chance to shape our own destiny. That is why centuries of pioneers and immigrants have risked everything to come here. It’s why our students don’t just memorize equations, but answer questions like “What do you think of that idea? What would you change about the world? What do you want to be when you grow up?”

The future is ours to win. But to get there, we can’t just stand still. As Robert Kennedy told us, “The future is not a gift. It is an achievement.” Sustaining the American Dream has never been about standing pat. It has required each generation to sacrifice, and struggle, and meet the demands of a new age.

Now it’s our turn. We know what it takes to compete for the jobs and industries of our time. We need to out-innovate, out-educate, and out-build the rest of the world. We have to make America the best place on Earth to do business. We need to take responsibility for our deficit, and reform our government. That’s how our people will prosper. That’s how we’ll win the future. And tonight, I’d like to talk about how we get there.

The first step in winning the future is encouraging American innovation.

None of us can predict with certainty what the next big industry will be, or where the new jobs will come from. Thirty years ago, we couldn’t know that something called the Internet would lead to an economic revolution. What we can do – what America does better than anyone – is spark the creativity and imagination of our people. We are the nation that put cars in driveways and computers in offices; the nation of Edison and the Wright brothers; of Google and Facebook. In America, innovation doesn’t just change our lives. It’s how we make a living.

Our free enterprise system is what drives innovation. But because it’s not always profitable for companies to invest in basic research, throughout history our government has provided cutting-edge scientists and inventors with the support that they need. That’s what planted the seeds for the Internet. That’s what helped make possible things like computer chips and GPS.

Just think of all the good jobs – from manufacturing to retail – that have come from those breakthroughs.

Half a century ago, when the Soviets beat us into space with the launch of a satellite called Sputnik¸ we had no idea how we’d beat them to the moon. The science wasn’t there yet. NASA didn’t even exist. But after investing in better research and education, we didn’t just surpass the Soviets; we unleashed a wave of innovation that created new industries and millions of new jobs.

This is our generation’s Sputnik moment. Two years ago, I said that we needed to reach a level of research and development we haven’t seen since the height of the Space Race. In a few weeks, I will be sending a budget to Congress that helps us meet that goal. We’ll invest in biomedical research, information technology, and especially clean energy technology – an investment that will strengthen our security, protect our planet, and create countless new jobs for our people.

Already, we are seeing the promise of renewable energy. Robert and Gary Allen are brothers who run a small Michigan roofing company. After September 11th, they volunteered their best roofers to help repair the Pentagon. But half of their factory went unused, and the recession hit them hard.

Today, with the help of a government loan, that empty space is being used to manufacture solar shingles that are being sold all across the country. In Robert’s words, “We reinvented ourselves.”

That’s what Americans have done for over two hundred years: reinvented ourselves. And to spur on more success stories like the Allen Brothers, we’ve begun to reinvent our energy policy. We’re not just handing out money. We’re issuing a challenge. We’re telling America’s scientists and engineers that if they assemble teams of the best minds in their fields, and focus on the hardest problems in clean energy, we’ll fund the Apollo Projects of our time.

At the California Institute of Technology, they’re developing a way to turn sunlight and water into fuel for our cars. At Oak Ridge National Laboratory, they’re using supercomputers to get a lot more power out of our nuclear facilities. With more research and incentives, we can break our dependence on oil with biofuels, and become the first country to have 1 million electric vehicles on the road by 2015.

We need to get behind this innovation. And to help pay for it, I’m asking Congress to eliminate the billions in taxpayer dollars we currently give to oil companies. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but they’re doing just fine on their own. So instead of subsidizing yesterday’s energy, let’s invest in tomorrow’s.

Now, clean energy breakthroughs will only translate into clean energy jobs if businesses know there will be a market for what they’re selling. So tonight, I challenge you to join me in setting a new goal: by 2035, 80% of America’s electricity will come from clean energy sources. Some folks want wind and solar. Others want nuclear, clean coal, and natural gas. To meet this goal, we will need them all – and I urge Democrats and Republicans to work together to make it happen.

Maintaining our leadership in research and technology is crucial to America’s success. But if we want to win the future – if we want innovation to produce jobs in America and not overseas – then we also have to win the race to educate our kids.

Think about it. Over the next ten years, nearly half of all new jobs will require education that goes beyond a high school degree. And yet, as many as a quarter of our students aren’t even finishing high school. The quality of our math and science education lags behind many other nations. America has fallen to 9th in the proportion of young people with a college degree. And so the question is whether all of us – as citizens, and as parents – are willing to do what’s necessary to give every child a chance to succeed.

That responsibility begins not in our classrooms, but in our homes and communities. It’s family that first instills the love of learning in a child. Only parents can make sure the TV is turned off and homework gets done. We need to teach our kids that it’s not just the winner of the Super Bowl who deserves to be celebrated, but the winner of the science fair; that success is not a function of fame or PR, but of hard work and discipline.

Our schools share this responsibility. When a child walks into a classroom, it should be a place of high expectations and high performance. But too many schools don’t meet this test. That’s why instead of just pouring money into a system that’s not working, we launched a competition called Race to the Top. To all fifty states, we said, “If you show us the most innovative plans to improve teacher quality and student achievement, we’ll show you the money.”

Race to the Top is the most meaningful reform of our public schools in a generation. For less than one percent of what we spend on education each year, it has led over 40 states to raise their standards for teaching and learning. These standards were developed, not by Washington, but by Republican and Democratic governors throughout the country. And Race to the Top should be the approach we follow this year as we replace No Child Left Behind with a law that is more flexible and focused on what’s best for our kids.

You see, we know what’s possible for our children when reform isn’t just a top-down mandate, but the work of local teachers and principals; school boards and communities.

Take a school like Bruce Randolph in Denver. Three years ago, it was rated one of the worst schools in Colorado; located on turf between two rival gangs. But last May, 97% of the seniors received their diploma. Most will be the first in their family to go to college. And after the first year of the school’s transformation, the principal who made it possible wiped away tears when a student said “Thank you, Mrs. Waters, for showing… that we are smart and we can make it.”

Let’s also remember that after parents, the biggest impact on a child’s success comes from the man or woman at the front of the classroom. In South Korea, teachers are known as “nation builders.” Here in America, it’s time we treated the people who educate our children with the same level of respect. We want to reward good teachers and stop making excuses for bad ones. And over the next ten years, with so many Baby Boomers retiring from our classrooms, we want to prepare 100,000 new teachers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math.

In fact, to every young person listening tonight who’s contemplating their career choice: If you want to make a difference in the life of our nation; if you want to make a difference in the life of a child – become a teacher. Your country needs you.

Of course, the education race doesn’t end with a high school diploma. To compete, higher education must be within reach of every American. That’s why we’ve ended the unwarranted taxpayer subsidies that went to banks, and used the savings to make college affordable for millions of students. And this year, I ask Congress to go further, and make permanent our tuition tax credit – worth $10,000 for four years of college.

Because people need to be able to train for new jobs and careers in today’s fast-changing economy, we are also revitalizing America’s community colleges. Last month, I saw the promise of these schools at Forsyth Tech in North Carolina. Many of the students there used to work in the surrounding factories that have since left town. One mother of two, a woman named Kathy Proctor, had worked in the furniture industry since she was 18 years old. And she told me she’s earning her degree in biotechnology now, at 55 years old, not just because the furniture jobs are gone, but because she wants to inspire her children to pursue their dreams too. As Kathy said, “I hope it tells them to never give up.”

If we take these steps – if we raise expectations for every child, and give them the best possible chance at an education, from the day they’re born until the last job they take – we will reach the goal I set two years ago: by the end of the decade, America will once again have the highest proportion of college graduates in the world.

One last point about education. Today, there are hundreds of thousands of students excelling in our schools who are not American citizens. Some are the children of undocumented workers, who had nothing to do with the actions of their parents. They grew up as Americans and pledge allegiance to our flag, and yet live every day with the threat of deportation. Others come here from abroad to study in our colleges and universities. But as soon as they obtain advanced degrees, we send them back home to compete against us. It makes no sense.

Now, I strongly believe that we should take on, once and for all, the issue of illegal immigration. I am prepared to work with Republicans and Democrats to protect our borders, enforce our laws and address the millions of undocumented workers who are now living in the shadows. I know that debate will be difficult and take time. But tonight, let’s agree to make that effort. And let’s stop expelling talented, responsible young people who can staff our research labs, start new businesses, and further enrich this nation.

The third step in winning the future is rebuilding America. To attract new businesses to our shores, we need the fastest, most reliable ways to move people, goods, and information – from high-speed rail to high-speed internet.

Our infrastructure used to be the best – but our lead has slipped. South Korean homes now have greater internet access than we do. Countries in Europe and Russia invest more in their roads and railways than we do. China is building faster trains and newer airports. Meanwhile, when our own engineers graded our nation’s infrastructure, they gave us a “D.”

We have to do better. America is the nation that built the transcontinental railroad, brought electricity to rural communities, and constructed the interstate highway system. The jobs created by these projects didn’t just come from laying down tracks or pavement. They came from businesses that opened near a town’s new train station or the new off-ramp.

Over the last two years, we have begun rebuilding for the 21st century, a project that has meant thousands of good jobs for the hard-hit construction industry. Tonight, I’m proposing that we redouble these efforts.

We will put more Americans to work repairing crumbling roads and bridges. We will make sure this is fully paid for, attract private investment, and pick projects based on what’s best for the economy, not politicians.

Within 25 years, our goal is to give 80% of Americans access to high-speed rail, which could allow you go places in half the time it takes to travel by car. For some trips, it will be faster than flying – without the pat-down. As we speak, routes in California and the Midwest are already underway.

Within the next five years, we will make it possible for business to deploy the next generation of high-speed wireless coverage to 98% of all Americans. This isn’t just about a faster internet and fewer dropped calls. It’s about connecting every part of America to the digital age. It’s about a rural community in Iowa or Alabama where farmers and small business owners will be able to sell their products all over the world. It’s about a firefighter who can download the design of a burning building onto a handheld device; a student who can take classes with a digital textbook; or a patient who can have face-to-face video chats with her doctor.

All these investments – in innovation, education, and infrastructure – will make America a better place to do business and create jobs. But to help our companies compete, we also have to knock down barriers that stand in the way of their success.

Over the years, a parade of lobbyists has rigged the tax code to benefit particular companies and industries. Those with accountants or lawyers to work the system can end up paying no taxes at all. But all the rest are hit with one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world. It makes no sense, and it has to change.

So tonight, I’m asking Democrats and Republicans to simplify the system. Get rid of the loopholes. Level the playing field. And use the savings to lower the corporate tax rate for the first time in 25 years – without adding to our deficit.

To help businesses sell more products abroad, we set a goal of doubling our exports by 2014 – because the more we export, the more jobs we create at home. Already, our exports are up. Recently, we signed agreements with India and China that will support more than 250,000 jobs in the United States. And last month, we finalized a trade agreement with South Korea that will support at least 70,000 American jobs. This agreement has unprecedented support from business and labor; Democrats and Republicans, and I ask this Congress to pass it as soon as possible.

Before I took office, I made it clear that we would enforce our trade agreements, and that I would only sign deals that keep faith with American workers, and promote American jobs. That’s what we did with Korea, and that’s what I intend to do as we pursue agreements with Panama and Colombia, and continue our Asia Pacific and global trade talks.

To reduce barriers to growth and investment, I’ve ordered a review of government regulations. When we find rules that put an unnecessary burden on businesses, we will fix them. But I will not hesitate to create or enforce commonsense safeguards to protect the American people. That’s what we’ve done in this country for more than a century. It’s why our food is safe to eat, our water is safe to drink, and our air is safe to breathe. It’s why we have speed limits and child labor laws. It’s why last year, we put in place consumer protections against hidden fees and penalties by credit card companies, and new rules to prevent another financial crisis. And it’s why we passed reform that finally prevents the health insurance industry from exploiting patients.

Now, I’ve heard rumors that a few of you have some concerns about the new health care law. So let me be the first to say that anything can be improved. If you have ideas about how to improve this law by making care better or more affordable, I am eager to work with you. We can start right now by correcting a flaw in the legislation that has placed an unnecessary bookkeeping burden on small businesses.

What I’m not willing to do is go back to the days when insurance companies could deny someone coverage because of a pre-existing condition. I’m not willing to tell James Howard, a brain cancer patient from Texas, that his treatment might not be covered. I’m not willing to tell Jim Houser, a small business owner from Oregon, that he has to go back to paying $5,000 more to cover his employees. As we speak, this law is making prescription drugs cheaper for seniors and giving uninsured students a chance to stay on their parents’ coverage. So instead of re-fighting the battles of the last two years, let’s fix what needs fixing and move forward.

Now, the final step – a critical step – in winning the future is to make sure we aren’t buried under a mountain of debt.

We are living with a legacy of deficit-spending that began almost a decade ago. And in the wake of the financial crisis, some of that was necessary to keep credit flowing, save jobs, and put money in people’s pockets.

But now that the worst of the recession is over, we have to confront the fact that our government spends more than it takes in. That is not sustainable. Every day, families sacrifice to live within their means. They deserve a government that does the same.

So tonight, I am proposing that starting this year, we freeze annual domestic spending for the next five years. This would reduce the deficit by more than $400 billion over the next decade, and will bring discretionary spending to the lowest share of our economy since Dwight Eisenhower was president.

This freeze will require painful cuts. Already, we have frozen the salaries of hardworking federal employees for the next two years. I’ve proposed cuts to things I care deeply about, like community action programs. The Secretary of Defense has also agreed to cut tens of billions of dollars in spending that he and his generals believe our military can do without.

I recognize that some in this Chamber have already proposed deeper cuts, and I’m willing to eliminate whatever we can honestly afford to do without. But let’s make sure that we’re not doing it on the backs of our most vulnerable citizens. And let’s make sure what we’re cutting is really excess weight. Cutting the deficit by gutting our investments in innovation and education is like lightening an overloaded airplane by removing its engine. It may feel like you’re flying high at first, but it won’t take long before you’ll feel the impact.

Now, most of the cuts and savings I’ve proposed only address annual domestic spending, which represents a little more than 12% of our budget. To make further progress, we have to stop pretending that cutting this kind of spending alone will be enough. It won’t.

The bipartisan Fiscal Commission I created last year made this crystal clear. I don’t agree with all their proposals, but they made important progress. And their conclusion is that the only way to tackle our deficit is to cut excessive spending wherever we find it – in domestic spending, defense spending, health care spending, and spending through tax breaks and loopholes.

This means further reducing health care costs, including programs like Medicare and Medicaid, which are the single biggest contributor to our long-term deficit. Health insurance reform will slow these rising costs, which is part of why nonpartisan economists have said that repealing the health care law would add a quarter of a trillion dollars to our deficit. Still, I’m willing to look at other ideas to bring down costs, including one that Republicans suggested last year: medical malpractice reform to rein in frivolous lawsuits.

To put us on solid ground, we should also find a bipartisan solution to strengthen Social Security for future generations. And we must do it without putting at risk current retirees, the most vulnerable, or people with disabilities; without slashing benefits for future generations; and without subjecting Americans’ guaranteed retirement income to the whims of the stock market.

And if we truly care about our deficit, we simply cannot afford a permanent extension of the tax cuts for the wealthiest 2% of Americans. Before we take money away from our schools, or scholarships away from our students, we should ask millionaires to give up their tax break.

It’s not a matter of punishing their success. It’s about promoting America’s success.

In fact, the best thing we could do on taxes for all Americans is to simplify the individual tax code. This will be a tough job, but members of both parties have expressed interest in doing this, and I am prepared to join them.

So now is the time to act. Now is the time for both sides and both houses of Congress – Democrats and Republicans – to forge a principled compromise that gets the job done. If we make the hard choices now to rein in our deficits, we can make the investments we need to win the future.

Let me take this one step further. We shouldn’t just give our people a government that’s more affordable. We should give them a government that’s more competent and efficient. We cannot win the future with a government of the past.

We live and do business in the information age, but the last major reorganization of the government happened in the age of black and white TV. There are twelve different agencies that deal with exports. There are at least five different entities that deal with housing policy. Then there’s my favorite example: the Interior Department is in charge of salmon while they’re in fresh water, but the Commerce Department handles them in when they’re in saltwater. And I hear it gets even more complicated once they’re smoked.

Now, we have made great strides over the last two years in using technology and getting rid of waste. Veterans can now download their electronic medical records with a click of the mouse. We’re selling acres of federal office space that hasn’t been used in years, and we will cut through red tape to get rid of more. But we need to think bigger. In the coming months, my administration will develop a proposal to merge, consolidate, and reorganize the federal government in a way that best serves the goal of a more competitive America. I will submit that proposal to Congress for a vote – and we will push to get it passed.

In the coming year, we will also work to rebuild people’s faith in the institution of government. Because you deserve to know exactly how and where your tax dollars are being spent, you will be able to go to a website and get that information for the very first time in history. Because you deserve to know when your elected officials are meeting with lobbyists, I ask Congress to do what the White House has already done: put that information online. And because the American people deserve to know that special interests aren’t larding up legislation with pet projects, both parties in Congress should know this: if a bill comes to my desk with earmarks inside, I will veto it.

A 21st century government that’s open and competent. A government that lives within its means. An economy that’s driven by new skills and ideas. Our success in this new and changing world will require reform, responsibility, and innovation. It will also require us to approach that world with a new level of engagement in our foreign affairs.

Just as jobs and businesses can now race across borders, so can new threats and new challenges. No single wall separates East and West; no one rival superpower is aligned against us.

And so we must defeat determined enemies wherever they are, and build coalitions that cut across lines of region and race and religion. America’s moral example must always shine for all who yearn for freedom, justice, and dignity. And because we have begun this work, tonight we can say that American leadership has been renewed and America’s standing has been restored.

Look to Iraq, where nearly 100,000 of our brave men and women have left with their heads held high; where American combat patrols have ended; violence has come down; and a new government has been formed. This year, our civilians will forge a lasting partnership with the Iraqi people, while we finish the job of bringing our troops out of Iraq. America’s commitment has been kept; the Iraq War is coming to an end.

Of course, as we speak, al Qaeda and their affiliates continue to plan attacks against us. Thanks to our intelligence and law enforcement professionals, we are disrupting plots and securing our cities and skies. And as extremists try to inspire acts of violence within our borders, we are responding with the strength of our communities, with respect for the rule of law, and with the conviction that American Muslims are a part of our American family.

We have also taken the fight to al Qaeda and their allies abroad. In Afghanistan, our troops have taken Taliban strongholds and trained Afghan Security Forces. Our purpose is clear – by preventing the Taliban from reestablishing a stranglehold over the Afghan people, we will deny al Qaeda the safe-haven that served as a launching pad for 9/11.

Thanks to our heroic troops and civilians, fewer Afghans are under the control of the insurgency. There will be tough fighting ahead, and the Afghan government will need to deliver better governance. But we are strengthening the capacity of the Afghan people and building an enduring partnership with them. This year, we will work with nearly 50 countries to begin a transition to an Afghan lead. And this July, we will begin to bring our troops home.

In Pakistan, al Qaeda’s leadership is under more pressure than at any point since 2001. Their leaders and operatives are being removed from the battlefield. Their safe-havens are shrinking. And we have sent a message from the Afghan border to the Arabian Peninsula to all parts of the globe: we will not relent, we will not waver, and we will defeat you.

American leadership can also be seen in the effort to secure the worst weapons of war. Because Republicans and Democrats approved the New START Treaty, far fewer nuclear weapons and launchers will be deployed. Because we rallied the world, nuclear materials are being locked down on every continent so they never fall into the hands of terrorists.

Because of a diplomatic effort to insist that Iran meet its obligations, the Iranian government now faces tougher and tighter sanctions than ever before. And on the Korean peninsula, we stand with our ally South Korea, and insist that North Korea keeps its commitment to abandon nuclear weapons.

This is just a part of how we are shaping a world that favors peace and prosperity. With our European allies, we revitalized NATO, and increased our cooperation on everything from counter-terrorism to missile defense. We have reset our relationship with Russia, strengthened Asian alliances, and built new partnerships with nations like India. This March, I will travel to Brazil, Chile, and El Salvador to forge new alliances for progress in the Americas. Around the globe, we are standing with those who take responsibility – helping farmers grow more food; supporting doctors who care for the sick; and combating the corruption that can rot a society and rob people of opportunity.

Recent events have shown us that what sets us apart must not just be our power – it must be the purpose behind it. In South Sudan – with our assistance – the people were finally able to vote for independence after years of war. Thousands lined up before dawn. People danced in the streets. One man who lost four of his brothers at war summed up the scene around him: “This was a battlefield for most of my life. Now we want to be free.”

We saw that same desire to be free in Tunisia, where the will of the people proved more powerful than the writ of a dictator. And tonight, let us be clear: the United States of America stands with the people of Tunisia, and supports the democratic aspirations of all people.

We must never forget that the things we’ve struggled for, and fought for, live in the hearts of people everywhere. And we must always remember that the Americans who have borne the greatest burden in this struggle are the men and women who serve our country.

Tonight, let us speak with one voice in reaffirming that our nation is united in support of our troops and their families. Let us serve them as well as they have served us – by giving them the equipment they need; by providing them with the care and benefits they have earned; and by enlisting our veterans in the great task of building our own nation.

Our troops come from every corner of this country – they are black, white, Latino, Asian and Native American. They are Christian and Hindu, Jewish and Muslim. And, yes, we know that some of them are gay. Starting this year, no American will be forbidden from serving the country they love because of who they love. And with that change, I call on all of our college campuses to open their doors to our military recruiters and the ROTC. It is time to leave behind the divisive battles of the past. It is time to move forward as one nation.

We should have no illusions about the work ahead of us. Reforming our schools; changing the way we use energy; reducing our deficit – none of this is easy. All of it will take time. And it will be harder because we will argue about everything. The cost. The details. The letter of every law.

Of course, some countries don’t have this problem. If the central government wants a railroad, they get a railroad – no matter how many homes are bulldozed. If they don’t want a bad story in the newspaper, it doesn’t get written.

And yet, as contentious and frustrating and messy as our democracy can sometimes be, I know there isn’t a person here who would trade places with any other nation on Earth.

We may have differences in policy, but we all believe in the rights enshrined in our Constitution. We may have different opinions, but we believe in the same promise that says this is a place where you can make it if you try. We may have different backgrounds, but we believe in the same dream that says this is a country where anything’s possible. No matter who you are. No matter where you come from.

That dream is why I can stand here before you tonight. That dream is why a working class kid from Scranton can stand behind me. That dream is why someone who began by sweeping the floors of his father’s Cincinnati bar can preside as Speaker of the House in the greatest nation on Earth.

That dream – that American Dream – is what drove the Allen Brothers to reinvent their roofing company for a new era. It’s what drove those students at Forsyth Tech to learn a new skill and work towards the future. And that dream is the story of a small business owner named Brandon Fisher.

Brandon started a company in Berlin, Pennsylvania that specializes in a new kind of drilling technology. One day last summer, he saw the news that halfway across the world, 33 men were trapped in a Chilean mine, and no one knew how to save them.

But Brandon thought his company could help. And so he designed a rescue that would come to be known as Plan B. His employees worked around the clock to manufacture the necessary drilling equipment. And Brandon left for Chile.

Along with others, he began drilling a 2,000 foot hole into the ground, working three or four days at a time with no sleep. Thirty-seven days later, Plan B succeeded, and the miners were rescued. But because he didn’t want all of the attention, Brandon wasn’t there when the miners emerged. He had already gone home, back to work on his next project.

Later, one of his employees said of the rescue, “We proved that Center Rock is a little company, but we do big things.”

We do big things.

From the earliest days of our founding, America has been the story of ordinary people who dare to dream. That’s how we win the future.

We are a nation that says, “I might not have a lot of money, but I have this great idea for a new company. I might not come from a family of college graduates, but I will be the first to get my degree. I might not know those people in trouble, but I think I can help them, and I need to try. I’m not sure how we’ll reach that better place beyond the horizon, but I know we’ll get there. I know we will.”

We do big things.

The idea of America endures. Our destiny remains our choice. And tonight, more than two centuries later, it is because of our people that our future is hopeful, our journey goes forward, and the state of our union is strong.

Thank you, God Bless You, and may God Bless the United States of America.

Tomorrow I'll break the who thing down to show where the discrepency between this speech and the reality of his record lies. And who it is exactly that's doing the lying.

Uncle Sam Will Support Me

Republicans took control of the House yesterday as the 112 Congress of the United States reconvened. As her parting shot, the always charming Pelosi declared before relinquishing the gavel that, "When the new speaker of the House, John Boehner, and the new Republican majority, come forward with solutions that address these American challenges (jobs creation), you will find in us a willing partner.”

What exactly did she mean by that? Did she mean that the Democrats were resigned to sit on their haunches (as they have been for the last two years) and wait for the Republicans to figure it out? Or more likely was she saying without really saying that when our economic freefall is stabilized and stimulated, that she and her pack of cronies will be the first ones claiming victory?

I just hope John Q Public’s memory is long enough, so when that turn-around comes, they realize that it was Republican fiscal conservatism forced upon our liberal Congress that ultimately put the brakes on the spending free-for-all our government has been enjoying unchecked for the duration of the Obama administration.

In my opinion, the first order of business that the House needs to address if they really intend to do the bidding of the people is to pick apart ObamaCare, line by line, citing each and every one of its Constitutional violations as grounds for repeal.

What it really amount to is the first step down the slippery slope of O’Bullshits ultimate plan of wealth distribution. The worst of it is his first strike was against the elderly. They’re a part of the population who isn’t exactly in a position to stand up for themselves, nor do they have the most powerful lobbies in DC fighting for them.

Because when you think about it, what did the reform really change? You still have to buy your own health insurance if you can afford it, but now you’re paying twice or three times as much so the government can ensure that the people who can’t or won’t pay are covered to see a doctor for every little hang-nail and sniffle. The real bitch of it is, that the doctor’s are going to be overworked and exhausted from having to carry such an enormous patient load, that even though you might be paying 3x’s as much to be seen, you’re going to get the same sub-par care that another patient, paying nothing will get.

What the health bill basically does is allow Big Brother to cut funding to one of the most vulnerable cross-sections of our populace. These are people who for many, many years paid into the system. In return that system promised to take care of them every time it grabbed its share. In reality, Obamacare hands them their hat and shows them the door.

With the passage of “The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,” the script has been flipped. Healthcare reform has shifted the responsibility of self preservation from an individual responsibility to a personal right. Soon, if the left has their way, anyone capable of crawling over and within our borders will become the burden of whatever aspect of the citizenry still foolish enough to continue working to support them.

How long will it be until even the diehard old-timers decide to rest their weary bones, content with their share of government cheese? What happens when the last rat decides to stop running on the wheel, because they finally realize that either way, the prize is the same in the end? At that point, who supplies the cheese we’ve all grown accustomed to when there’s no one left to make it?

I absolutely understand that the greatness of the nation I love is its possibility of all things. The land of the free and the home of the brave became that way due to the bravery, honor, blood, sweat and tears of the men and women who fought and died to allow us these rights.

We didn’t become the most powerful nation in the world with the best standard of living because our fore-father’s flung the doors wide open and said, “To hell with it. Come on in and take what ‘cha want/need...don’t contribute, don’t produce and while you’re at it, take your trust out of God and put it in us.”

Everyone chant on three, “Uncle Sam will support me.”

And not for nothing, but Obama’s shift to the middle is a farce. He’s a true politician and knows that the only way he’ll ever get re-elected is if he’s seen as middle-of-the-road. Once he gets in, if he does, he’ll pull off his moderate mask and go whole hog to implement his liberal agenda.

His ideology is too ingrained; look back through my initial posts of this blog, the very reason for its existence is to warn the country of the dangers of this man, his personal affiliations and his publically stated beliefs prior to his decision to run for office.

Personal beliefs and ingrained ideologies don’t shift as easily as your weight from your left foot to your right.

And I haven’t lost my appreciation for irony. It was reported yesterday that Obama is, “Imploring the right to help his resurrect the economy.” Mark my words, when the Republican led House manages to block enough of the liberal lefts crazy entitlement programs, draft fiscally conservative legislation and gets it passed; they’ll save this sinking ship. And when they do, Obumbler will, without a doubt, pin a star on his lapel and claim the victory as his and his alone.

He is a true politician in the worst sense of the word. He will play the game and pander to the right, fake a more moderate belief in policy and ideals for the sole purpose of re-election. Once he achieves that goal, he knows that as the Constitution stands now (not that he’s shown any respect for or recognition of the document thus far) he’s not eligible for a third term. As such, his second term will be a full-court press of steam-rolling over the majority will of the people. An Obama second term will no doubt force upon us a dictatorship-like environment of government rule and the implementation of his and his elitist friends every whim and desire.

IMPEACH OBAMA NOW!!

We're In The WRONG Gear!!!

With so much that has occurred in the two weeks since my last posting; I’m changing up the topics in this, Part Two of this series. Suffice is to say, it has been more than strongly suggested by members of both parties that the Obama Administration’s refusal to lift the Jones Act, mostly has to do with protecting the pocketbooks of his union allies by keeping foreign vessels at bay. The Jones Act is part of The Merchant Marine Act of 1920 is a United States Federal statute that regulates maritime commerce in U.S. waters and between U.S. ports. Section 27, also known as the Jones Act, deals with cabotage (i.e., coastal shipping) and requires that all goods transported by water between U.S. ports be carried in U.S.-flag ships, constructed in the United States, owned by U.S. citizens, and crewed by U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents. The purpose of the law is to support the U.S. Maritime industry, sources. In addition, amendments to the Jones Act, known as the Cargo Preference Act provide permanent legislation for the transportation of waterborne cargoes in U.S.-flag vessels. Still, the issue is now seemingly moot seeing as how the Comrade in Chief did finally lift the act, no matter how late in the game, BP managed to cap the leak and the Gulf is thankfully in the process of being restored to its previous pristine condition. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of its inhabitants. It’s being reported that over 20,000 jobs have been lost due to the six-month drilling ban in the Gulf that has been enacted. Unemployment is already at its peak in US history with over half a million Americans (and if the idiot has his way, soon a few hundred thousand illegal’s) filing for unemployment benefits last week alone. That in mind, how sound of an executive decision does it seem to impose these restrictions to appease his tree-hugger friends, etc? Moving on…Robert Gibbs, the White House press secretary, in my opinion, has the worst job in the world. He is basically paid to look like a bumbling idiot as a red herring to smoke and mirrors the fact that it is his boss, Obumbler, who is actually Le’ Incompetent. He appeared on Fox and Friends this morning and was interviewed by Gretchen Carlson. When Carlson asked Gibbs if tonight the President will admit that the surge worked, the Press secretary replied that Obama always said that putting 20,000 more troops on the ground would work. Unfortunately for Gibbs, just before the interview, Carlson showed the audience a video where Candidate Obama said that adding the troops would not work. Caught in a "misstatement" Gibbs went on the defensive and the fun ensued, including Carlson asking if President Obama was going to credit President Bush tonight during his speech for the success in Iraq--five times. Instead of answering the question, Gibbs counted the number of times Carlson asked. "That's the second time you asked the question...third...etc.” Predictably, Gretchen never got her answer, and so neither did we. It’s being predicted that in his address to the nation tonight, Obama will announce that all US troops will be out of Iraq by the end of 2011. That, however, begs the question; with just around 50,000 troops still on the ground there and still no coherent government to speak of, with violence and upheaval at its highest rate in the 7.5 years we’ve been there; are we just abandoning a region whose soil is still fertile for terrorism? Finally, last week while Osama, err…Obama took his 9th, 10th, 11th??? vacation since taking office (I can understand; I need a nap after power-spending at the mall. Difference is; I’m spending my own money), the House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) called Tuesday for the mass firing of the Obama administration's economic team, including Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner and White House adviser Larry Summers, arguing that November's midterm elections are shaping up as a referendum on sustained unemployment across the nation and saying the "writing is on the wall." Boehner said President Obama's team lacks "real-world, hands-on experience" in creating jobs that are needed for a full economic recovery. The Republican lawmaker cited reports that some senior aides complained of "exhaustion," including the recently departed budget Chief Peter Orszag. "President Obama should ask for - and accept - the resignations of the remaining members of his economic team, starting with Secretary Geithner and Larry Summers, the head of the National Economic Council," Boehner said in the morning speech to business leaders at the City Club of Cleveland. The mass dismissal, he added, would be "no substitute for a referendum on the president's job-killing agenda. That question will be put before the American people in due time. But we do not have the luxury of waiting months for the president to pick scapegoats for his failing 'stimulus' policies." Vice President Biden lashed back at Boehner, called his "so-called" economic plan nothing but a list of what Republicans are against and devoid of innovative new ideas that can help move the country forward. If this is forward; I’d hate to see reverse. JGG original post at http://politicalpatrol.blogspot.comNEED A BLOGGER? I'M AVAILABLE TO BLOG FOR YOU. CONTACT ME AT THE ABOVE ADDRESS.

Ya Say Ya Wanna Revolution

The roof hasn’t collapsed yet, but the walls are caving in.

In this part of a new three part series called, “Ya Say Ya Want a Revolution,” we’re going to try to figure out what the hell he’s doing in Arizona with SB1070 (the new immigration law), the mosque at Ground Zero and that annoying Michele Obama commercial where she’s virtually begging us to send money to Haiti when it was reported yesterday that more American’s are collecting food stamps to feed their families as they wait for the sheriff to come serve them their eviction notices and put the lock on the door.

Part two is going to cover the Gulf oil spill and the real reason it took him so long to lift the Jones Act (hint, hint—unions), OGodHelpUs’s decision to finance off-shore drilling in Brazil, and his moratorium on deep water drilling in the Gulf.

Part three will cover and explain the new taxes coming our way, soon. So much for that campaign promise; along with all the others.

So let’s get started. Arizona’s new immigration law SB1070…a synopsis:

The Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act (introduced as Arizona Senate Bill 1070 and thus often referred to simply as Arizona SB 1070) is a legislative act in the U.S. state of Arizona that is the broadest and strictest anti-illegal immigration measure in decades. It has received national and international attention and has spurred considerable controversy.

U.S. federal law requires certain aliens to register with the U.S. government, and to have registration documents in their possession at all times. The Arizona Act additionally makes it a state misdemeanor crime for an alien to be in Arizona without carrying the required documents, bars state or local officials or agencies from restricting enforcement of federal immigration laws, and cracks down on those sheltering, hiring and transporting illegal aliens. The paragraph on intent in the legislation says it embodies an "attrition through enforcement" doctrine.

In March of 2010, rancher Bob Krentz and his dog were killed by an illegal alien from Mexico and just a couple of weeks ago two more American’s were murdered by who were believed to be Mexican drug lords. Forgive me, but I’d rather insult an alien and protect an American than have it the other way around, but that’s just me. No offense.

Critics of the legislation say it encourages racial profiling, while supporters say the law prohibits the use of race as the sole basis for investigating immigration status. The law was modified by Arizona House Bill 2162 within a week of its signing with the goal of addressing some of these concerns. There have been protests in opposition to the law in over 70 U.S. cities, including boycotts and calls for boycotts of Arizona. Polling has found the law to have majority support in Arizona, as well as nationwide. Passage of the measure has prompted other states to consider adopting similar legislation. And let’s hope they do; CLOSE OUR BORDERS!!!!

The mosque at Ground Zero is going to be a reality with President Obama weighing in forcefully, saying “…a nation built on religious freedom must allow it.”

“As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country,” Obama told a crowd gathered at the White House Friday evening to observe the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

He also then personally wished all Muslims around the world a happy Ramadan.

Who the hell is this guy? I wouldn’t be surprised to find him worshiping at the damn mosque himself in disguise.

The White House had not previously taken a stand on the mosque, which would be part of a $100 million Islamic community center two blocks from where nearly 3,000 people perished when hijacked jetliners slammed into the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001. Press secretary Robert Gibbs had insisted it was a local matter.

But Obumbler’s tune changed when he concluded “that that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances,” he said. “This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable.”

No offense, but this guy is either a terrorist, himself…or just a real idiot. Does he not get that when those bulldozers show up to dig up the ground and churn the earth, the MURDERED BODIES of AMERICAN CITIZENS will be bulldozed along with it? He gets it, seriously, how could he not…he just doesn’t care.

Now, on to Michelle, the racist that the socialist is married to. Who else is beginning to find her annoying in that commercial with her persistent plea for us to text, “fuck America” to 999999 to send Haiti $10.

Now don’t get me wrong, I had no problem with America responding to the immediate disaster, I’m not heartless, I saw the footage on TV; I even donated myself…but come on, it happened more than 7 months ago. In January there were 498000 claims for unemployment, last count in August of 2010, there were 14,000+ more filing.

1.41 MILLION Americans filed for personal bankruptcy in 2009, alone. Who has $10 bucks to send to Haiti? No offense, of course.

What a clusterf*%k

OK, let's get to the thick of it; the G20 summit was a blaring failure. Basically, the rest of the globe told our "comrade-in-chief" to go STICK IT; the gravy train has dried out and they're done financing his universal spending spree. His allegiance is questionable and his intentions are ill-defined. President Obama warned that the world economic recovery remains "fragile" and urged continued spending to support growth, however, the president's remarks tempered the Group of 20's headline achievement at the summit, which is a deficit-reduction target that had been pushed by Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the host of the meeting and a fiscal conservative. It'll be interesting to see how Obutterfinger rationalizes the health care reform bill(which alone is expected to add an additional trillion to our already epic national debt.) Especially with the mammoth tax increase every American will suffer if he can somehow ram cap and trade through the legislatures. Simply put, cap and trade is a a carbon cap and trade scheme, and if it works perfectly, it basically functions the same as an energy tax. The Waxman-Markey cap and trade bill currently under consideration in Congress is no different. In 2007, MIT did a study on the costs of cap and trade and found that cap and trade proposals that would reduce carbon emission by 50% to 80% below 1990 levels by 2050 would cost the American household $800 a year in economic losses and $3,100 a year in taxes collected by the federal government. That’s a total $3,900 cost for the average American household. WHAT HAPPENED TO NO NEW TAXES? Extortion does not protect the public. They are using false science for a regulating rationale. They are over reaching by extorting money in the name of safety; a form of Tyranny that can not be allowed. SAFETY FROM WHAT??? It is strictly a way for certain legislators who are heavily invested in these alternative energies to assist them in padding their portfolios. Look at the Speaker and how much she invested in wind mills. It is time to remove these extortionists from office. Pre-emptive punishment can not be used under the constitutional law. Cap and trade would just further enrich Obama’s billionaire friends while helping him achieve his goal of transforming the U.S. into another socialist/communist GULAG like Cuba. We had one the coldest winter's on record...so ENOUGH with the "Global Warming" CRAP “Progressive” (communist) politicians like Obama seem determined to force us to swallow the man-made global warming scam. We need to defend ourselves from the United Nations and these politicians, who threaten our future and the future of our children. Based on a lie, they have already wasted billions and plan to increase taxes and increase the cost of energy, which will limit development, destroy our economy and enslave us. If not stopped, the global warming scam will enrich the scammers (Gore and Obama’s Wall Street friends), increase the power of the United Nations and communists like Obama, and multiply poverty and servitude for the rest of us. Obama, Pelosi and Reid are all about government being in total of control of each and everything you do, you own and how it is bought and the next thing will be he will find a way to control the thermostat you have in your house. The saddest part of it all is that the true Americans, those here legally, will be the ones forking over our hard-earned already doubled taxed (state/federal) money, while the illegals, who Czar Obama is now suing Arizona to protect their rights will still be paying no taxes at all. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Phoenix, argues that Arizona's law requiring state and local police to question anyone they reasonably suspect of being an illegal immigrant undermines the federal government's authority. Now I don't know about you, but if I get pulled over by the police for whatever, I'm required to produce identification, aren't you? The law doesn't allow cops to go running up, willey-nilley to anyone with unjust cause, and furthermore; it is an extension of an already existing Federal law. So let's wrap up this cluster fuck by examining, "card check." Card check--the most radical revision of labor law since 1935--would allow unions to do away with secret ballots, a fundamental right in a democracy, and unionize companies simply by coaxing, cajoling or coercing a majority of workers into signing a card. It came alarmingly close to being enacted last year when the House overwhelmingly passed the fraudulently named Employee Free Choice Act. The Republican minority in the Senate eventually filibustered the legislation. But card check will be bad for workers and businesses. And why McCain wasn't shouting this from the rooftops is one of the big mysteries of his campaign. Unions have been losing membership steadily since their heyday in the 1950s when nearly 35% of the American workforce belonged to a union, compared with 7.5% today. Indeed, even as the economy added more than 9.5 million jobs between 1999 and 2006, unions lost more than 1 million members. But instead of enticing reluctant workers by offering better prices or services--as a club losing membership would do--unions want to effectively coerce them by taking away their right to a fair vote. Furthermore, Big Labor wants to eliminate the elections required to form a union, while keeping them for when workers want to remove an existing union. This is a flagrant double-standard designed to turn workers into union hostages. Basically, it's another softball toss to the power's that be, by stepping on the heads of the average American. original post at http://politicalpatrol.blogspot.com NEED A BLOGGER? Help Wanted

A Japanese doctor said, "Medicine in my country is so advanced that we took the kidney out of one man, put it in another, and had him looking for work in six weeks." A German doctor said, "That's nothing, we can take a lung out of one person, put it in another, and have him looking for work in four weeks. A British doctor said, "In my country, medicine is so advanced that we can take half of a heart out of one person, put it in another, and have them both looking for work in two weeks." A Chicago doctor, not to be outdone said, “You guys are way behind. We took a man with no brains out of Chicago; put him in the White House, now half the country is looking for work.”
Sorry, but to be fair; I wanted to open with a joke, since you won’t be laughing much after you read this. Awhile ago I heard rumblings that the BO administration was leaning heavily towards levying a “snack tax.” Basically what that means is there’d be a VAT (value added tax) attached to the purchase price of things like juice drinks and soda. Many European countries have it in ADDITION to paying 50% of their salary in income tax. As per the usual with Chicago politics...there’s always another layer; like a magician who’s third hand has found its way into your wallet. Osama, err...Obama’s VAT tax is the back door way of sneaking in a tax hike on the middle and lower classes...those his hollow campaign promises (ha ha) vowed he wouldn’t raise taxes on. It was also just reported that at the end of 2011, there’d be a middle class tax hike. Oops, sorry...but someone’s gotta pay for all this shit. Oh, and another thing... the definition of middle class has been reduced from $250,000 to $200,000; just FYI. I checked again today and yup, UNEMPLOYMENT is still HOLDING FAST at 9.7%...ummmm; hello, IS THIS THING ON??? Did no one but me hear him when he GUARANTEED us (after stealing the first Billion) that if we got the stimulus bill passed-right now!!- that we wouldn’t see unemployment top 9%? And not for nothing, but 9.7% is a heck of a lot better than the OVER 10%we were looking at just a few short months ago. The quarterly, “Jobs Creation Report,” turned out to be a roaring success...on paper. The fact is that it is focused purely on short-term PUBLIC sector positions; with the 2010 Census Taker’s making up the bulk of the surge. The bottom line is, if you don’t support the private sector, you’re forever beholden to a welfare state. True, the 1st of the month check career is a “livin easy” lifestyle, but who supports it after the 9 to 5’ers give up, too? Government assistance was created and designed to support those who grew too frail, were left on their own too young or became too disabled to work...not for those just too lazy to. And somehow with all these bailout’s and all of the government’s increased spending; Vice President Biden (who seriously makes Dan Quayle look like the president of MENSA) announced at a recent press conference that there’s, “NO WAY TO RECOVER THE 8 MILLION JOBS THAT WERE LOST DURING THE RECESSION.” When America wakes up, I’m pretty sure there will be at least TWO openings real soon...and evidently; sadly, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. JGG “Help Wanted” is the second part of a three part series. Please join me next time when we turn our eye to the issues of health care, the G20 summit, Arizona’s new Immigration Law, the latest sanctions we’ve proposed for Iran and just who really benefited from the bank bailout. original post at http://politicalpatrol.blogspot.com NEED A BLOGGER? Disengaged

This is the first part of a potentially three part series covering the sinking ship that is our federal government. We’ve suffered several serious blows and with no experts on the boat to figure out a fix; we’re taking on water and we’re going down; fast.

I long ago predicted that an Obama Administration would most surely yet swiftly usher in the Age of Armageddon and if the past year and a half is any indication in terms of my psychic foresight; I should be reading palms on the Jersey boardwalk for 10 bucks a pop.

For those of you who’ve read me before, to say I’ve never been a fan of this socialist regime would be an understatement. So because I began my writing career as a journalist, I will attempt to refrain from showing bias and instead dedicate this blog post to recapping, as objectively as possible, the “highlights” of the BO fiasco thus far.

Since the buffet of incompetence is fairly brimming over, and each and every one of these administrations missteps hold the same weight in terms of its potential to cripple our nation one way or another, the following list is in no particular order.

Hell, let’s kick it off with easily the worst environmental disaster in the history of the world. Today is June 28, 2010; day 70 of the BP oil spill. The explosion that caused the blowout of the oil well occurred mid-April and though the president found time to hit the golf course twice within that time frame; he didn’t make his first voyage down to the decimated region until the first week in May to assess the damage and assure the residents; himself, that all would be OK.

Even then he only made the trip in response to the public backlash at his lack of action.

Unfortunately, it seems, he hadn’t spent any of that downtime brainstorming a solution to the crisis because when he finally did show up, his entire strategy consisted of attacking BP, while stepping back from accepting any personal or administrative responsibility. His ever-ready, “IT’S NOT MY FAULT” defense, was in full swing.

Lashing out with righteous anger to simultaneously lay the blame squarely on the shoulders of BP’s CEO, Tony Hayward (admittedly, an idiot) and his old fall back, George Bush.

In the midst of the Gulf crisis, reports are the former chief of staff to Rod Blagojevich (the impeached Illinois Governor) says he believes Barack Obama knew of the then-governor's attempt to get a job in exchange for appointing a White House-preferred person to Obama’s senate seat.

John Harris, Blagojevich’s former top aide, testified during the governor’s corruption hearings this week that three days after Obama’s election as president, Blagojevich felt assured he had a deal from the president that would place aide Valerie Jarrett in the Senate. He offered no proof of his claim.

“The president understands that the governor would be willing to make the appointment of Valerie Jarrett as long as he gets what he's asked for,” Harris said in testimony.

Harris said the deal was that Blagojevich would get a “Cabinet appointment” in return. The White House has declined comment.

The same claim has been made by defense lawyers in past court filings, without supporting evidence.

The president spoke with FBI agents about the Blagojevich scandal soon after the former governor was arrested in 2008. Blagojevich’s legal team has tried to compel the FBI to release a transcript of the interview it conducted with the president, but the bureau has declined all requests.

In a conversation released earlier this week between Blagojevich and Harris recorded by the FBI, Blagojevich is heard saying his “objective” in shopping the Senate seat was to “get a good gig” in Washington.

Blagojevich suggested to Harris that he aim to become secretary of Health and Human Services or ambassador to the United Nations.

Again, no supporting evidence has been turned over yet, but to be sure if/when it ever is; his own party could prove to be his undoing and from what I know about Chicago politics, I’d wager good money that the proof exists somewhere and it’s being held as the ultimate bargaining tool.

One final fumble of the butterfinger’ed Obama admin I’d like to touch on is the recent Rolling Stone interview with General Stanley McChrystal and his top aides. The relationship suffered its initial blow in October of 2009 when a confidential report that McChrystal wrote which painted a grim picture of the allied mission in Afghanistan was leaked to the press.

Matters were helped none when the general then went on to give a series of candid interviews as well as the speech. He told Newsweek he was firmly against half measures in Afghanistan: "You can't hope to contain the fire by letting just half the building burn."

It was also reported that upon McChrystal’s first meeting with the president in the Oval Office, McChrystal found Obama to be, “disengaged,” and he got the sense that the president was "out of his league." The article goes on to document Team America’s booze-filled night, reporting, in candid detail, not only the general’s personal opinion of Obama’s abilities as Commander-in-Chief, but also those of his team: a group of soldiers described as a tight-knit unit of men who represent the most powerful force shaping U.S. policy in Afghanistan.

Mere days after the story ran, McChrystal was summoned to the Oval Office once again to face the music. This time he came prepared with his resignation papers in hand; indicating that even if he was not relieved of his duty, he had had enough and would not stay.

This whole embarrassing incident only served to further damage Obama’s image in the eyes of our enemies and allies, alike. And in what is perhaps the sweetest twist of irony that reinforced the perception of the left’s waffling; the officer that Obama tapped to take over as the top U.S. Commander in Afghanistan just happens to be General David Petraeus, the brave patriot that Obama’s political puppet organization; MoveOn.org famously renamed, General BetrayUs.

This from a group of traitors and thugs who clearly disclaim at the bottom of their web page that: "MoveOn.org Political Action is a federal political committee which primarily helps members elect candidates who reflect our values through a variety of activities aimed at influencing the outcome of the next election."

Somethings gotta turn around….
